Why would anyone go to a doctor who doesn't utilize all medical options. Well,if you go to a doctor who does not prescribe pain medications that's exactly what your doing. Less than 1 percent of patients prescribed pain meds become addicted to those meds yet a good majority of doctors no longer prescribe these very helpful pain medications. As usual the government has plays it's part using the DEA to scare doctors by threatening thier practice license if they are suspected of running a "pill mill". So many doctors prefer you remain in pain as opposed to regulating and monitoring your medication intake. Basically, any doctor who doesn't prescribe pain meds is doing so because they're either lazy or not competent.

Regardless of the "well thought out" response from the local yokal/joke...I'll say it again...a good doctor is a doctor who utilizes every sevice available for any given ailment.

I'm not sure what you mean by "utilizes every service available". If my doctor doesn't think I need drugs, he wouldn't give me any even if I were to ask (which I don't), and I'm ok with that.
