Will our government sit back watch and NOT act if we are attacked by
Kim Jong Un ? Or will they react with all mighty force? Will it be 5 nukes for one of their's or will it be one of our cities nuked and just more lip service from our government? Will our government DEFEND us?

Defend the US from what? The DPRK does not have an ICBM that can reach the US. They have short-range and medium-range missiles that can hit South Korea and southern Japan. But doing so would risk a major US-ROK counteroffensive that could topple the Kim regime. Kim is rational and would not risk his survival.

Un is just posturing. He isn't crazy enough to do anything. If he did, Obama would have no problem reacting.

This administration hasn't a clue what to do. He's just about taking our money. He's not a leader in any sense of the word.

I have studied the DPRK for years and from what I can determine is that Kim Jong-un is tying his nuclear program to economic development. There is much heat coming from the DPRK but not much military activity. Kim wants the US to come back to the six party talks under no conditions. The North relies heavily on China for food and oil, but it resents this circumstance and remains wary of Chinese policy. Nuclear weapons are a means to extract a peace treaty and diversified economic aid from the West. This prospect strengthens Kim's regime. As I said earlier Kim is rational and his main concern is survival.

Obama and Hagel are handling this crisis very well. But we still need a diplomatic endgame. If not official, then the US should send an envoy headed by Bill Clinton or Bill Richardson.

No. The USA should lay down the law to North Korea. Even better. Go in full force and take it away from him and ditch him and his cronies. This guy is crazy and potentially dangerous. Just one small North Korean War vessel. JUST ONE equipped with a medium range missile with a nuke could just possibly get close to our coast and bingo. Even easier could get close to neighboring countries coasts and wammo. While we are all busy looking at Kim jong un moving around missiles he could be doing something else 20 times worse. All whole the world is asleep.

I personally think Dennis Rodman was secretly sent over there by our State Dept to convey a message. He's the last person in the world anyone would suspect. Then Rodman comes back and publicly says the State Dept is wrong about Kim Jong Un and they need to overhaul their assessment of him. Plus, he says Kim told him to have Obama call him. It's way too off-the-wall, who else could get away with saying those things.

I think Rodman could have a role in easing this crisis. He is the only American to ever meet Kim Jong-un.
