i know the court activity is public record but I think it doesnt need to be put in the paper or on the net. We all fall from grace and maybe public notice is beyond reasonable punishment.

I agree that it should be published but only because the Baxter Bulletin is getting so small, if that is left out there will only be obits and advertising. Anybody want to try to guess how long our paper is going to last?

It is sad to think we may lose all forms of newspaper to internet. Our world is certainly changing. Missouri has a website for all court cases in the state. We need a nationwide site. |

1 Maybe someday if you are real good and pray real hard you might be complimented and mistaken as a hillbilly, I mean since you are 'hereforgood' you must be taken with the people. I mean Arkansas is beautiful and all but so is the rest of this country. I think you are wanting to be mistaken for a hillbilly and just to shy to admit it. Hang in there 'We' might come to accept you in a few years. |

1 Actually, I'd be classified as a redneck. Texan and all. At least I'm CLEAN. I bathe regularly. You seem to have a 'social' problem like the rest of the people here. They seem to want the last say on who is or who is not 'accepted'. I could care less. No one dictates to me if I'm acceptable or not. I didn't move here and hope to be ACCEPTED. I moved here cause I like it here. The people aren't even a consideration in my life. I've known hillbillies in other states. They don't have control issues like the people here. They'd be damned lucky if I accepted THEM. Hope they don't hold their breath. |

1 Hmmm, I know many Texans and none seem to have had such a problem with the 'hillbillies' in the area, kind of reinforces the opinion I have gotten from your posts maybe it is YOU that has the issues. As for bathing, glad to hear you are clean and to make a statement like that you are insinuating I am not? If so, pretty juvenile. Next I will have cooties right? Let's get past all the prejudice and realize not everyone who lives in Yellville are stupid hillbillies who smell bad, steal and are out to get you. It is getting real old and seems to be your major topic of discussion. Move on. |

1 It's most of the people in Yellville who need to get over the prejudice by not wanting outsiders here. I'd say THAT'S pretty juvenile. But I won't hold my breath. I know what I know, and that is ALL I need to know. You have your opinion, I have mine. I base my opinions on hard core experience. I never said YOU don't bathe. I was commenting on all the ones here who don't bathe, whoever they are. And it's a LOT of them. I also know Texans and others who think a lot of the people in this area are crazy. Is something wrong with THEM too? It's due to their experience also. There are a lot of others besides me who post on here with the same observations. Guess we're ALL nuts huh? Like I said I base things on personal experience. |
