i know the court activity is public record but I think it doesnt need to be put in the paper or on the net. We all fall from grace and maybe public notice is beyond reasonable punishment.

It is amazing how you contradict yourself Mary. First you want to shout from the rooftops how the bad hillbilly thieves have stolen from YOU but don't publish public record of others 'fall from grace'. A few of the incidents reported in the article you are speaking were DWI's something that affects everyone of us.
Please realize the world does revolve around all of us.

I agree that it should be published but only because the Baxter Bulletin is getting so small, if that is left out there will only be obits and advertising. Anybody want to try to guess how long our paper is going to last?

I think it's a good idea to keep track of the hillbillies. You can also see mug shots daily on the baxter county detention center website.

It is sad to think we may lose all forms of newspaper to internet. Our world is certainly changing. Missouri has a website for all court cases in the state. We need a nationwide site.

Maybe someday if you are real good and pray real hard you might be complimented and mistaken as a hillbilly, I mean since you are 'hereforgood' you must be taken with the people. I mean Arkansas is beautiful and all but so is the rest of this country. I think you are wanting to be mistaken for a hillbilly and just to shy to admit it. Hang in there 'We' might come to accept you in a few years.

Actually, I'd be classified as a redneck. Texan and all. At least I'm CLEAN. I bathe regularly.

You seem to have a 'social' problem like the rest
of the people here. They seem to want the last say
on who is or who is not 'accepted'. I could care
less. No one dictates to me if I'm acceptable or not. I didn't move here and hope to be ACCEPTED.
I moved here cause I like it here. The people aren't even a consideration in my life.

I've known hillbillies in other states. They don't
have control issues like the people here. They'd
be damned lucky if I accepted THEM. Hope they don't hold their breath.

Hmmm, I know many Texans and none seem to have had such a problem with the 'hillbillies' in the area, kind of reinforces the opinion I have gotten from your posts maybe it is YOU that has the issues. As for bathing, glad to hear you are clean and to make a statement like that you are insinuating I am not? If so, pretty juvenile. Next I will have cooties right? Let's get past all the prejudice and realize not everyone who lives in Yellville are stupid hillbillies who smell bad, steal and are out to get you. It is getting real old and seems to be your major topic of discussion. Move on.

It's most of the people in Yellville who need to get over the prejudice by not wanting outsiders here. I'd say THAT'S pretty juvenile. But I won't hold my breath. I know what I know, and that is ALL I need to know. You have your opinion, I have mine. I base my opinions on hard core experience.

I never said YOU don't bathe. I was commenting on
all the ones here who don't bathe, whoever they are. And it's a LOT of them.

I also know Texans and others who think a lot of the people in this area are crazy. Is something wrong with THEM too? It's due to their experience also.

There are a lot of others besides me who post on here with the same observations. Guess we're ALL
nuts huh? Like I said I base things on personal
experience.

Well, I was born and raised in good ol redneck hillbilly country, AKA Baxter County Arkansas. And I'm d@mn proud of it! And while I'll admit I may not take a bath every day, ask any mother of a young child, and there'll be days they don't get one either! But that's off topic. Everyone is always putting Arkansans down, calling us hillbillies, rednecks, inbred, you name it. Personally, I'M SICK OF IT! If you don't like it here, GO SOME WHERE ELSE! Same goes for people that like to run the US into the ground! Now I did my share of b!tching about the government when Bush 1&2 were in office, and no I don't support EVERY thing the government does, but we do have it a lot better than most of the world. So please, quit fighting about who is better than who. NO ONE IS! We are all EQUAL! We're born naked, we eat/sleep/breathe, we all want a good life/safe neighborhood. If everyone would just forget about trying to be better than each other, things might even start to GET better!
*climbs down off her soap box*
Sorry, things like that just tick me off... I'll hush.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Libra

Someone is shooting from the hip today, making them irascible and all too liable to fly off the handle. Be very wary about provoking them into further outbursts, particularly where the vexed topics of money and sex are concerned. If you're trying to sort out a financial problem you will also be prone to losing your rag and banging your fist on the table. But will that help?
