Back in 1995 when Clinton and the controlled media were demonizing the patriot and militia movement as outlaws and somehow to blame for the Oklahoma City bombing (like 9/11 also a proven inside job), I was a pesky patriot who went up to mediascum reporters with their cameramen next to them and said "I have documentation that this man (the reporter) is a member of a militia!" when he'd say "That's crap" or whatever I simply handed out copies of Title 10 section 311 !
BTW, that law says I cease being a member of the unorganized militia at age 45, but of course I'll remain a patriot and member of the national Tyranny Responce Team. yes we have own own gear->

In 2007 a federal appeals court overturned the District of Columbia's long-standing handgun ban Friday, rejecting the city's argument that the Second Amendment right to bear arms applied only to militias.-http://www.newsmax.c om/archives/articles/2007/3/9/ 141902.shtml
^the anti-gun rights shyster scum of D.C. failed in their try to use the bull***t notion that the militia is something other than we the people in order to get the high court to let the local D.C. govt. continue it's unconstitutional law.
*The 'National Guard' was created under the 1903 Dick Act and more bad legislation subsequently took it out of the hands of the Governors (and some are not happy about it) so it IS NOT the 'militia' mentioned in the second amendment, even if the N.G. claims they are, its just not historically or legally true.
Such subsequent bad acts of Congress include-The National Guard Mobilization Act of 1933 which made the National Guard a component of the Army and therefore could be ordered into active federal service by the President whenever Congress declared a national emergency.(FDR declared one himself on March 9th 1933, and it's never been un-declared!)

bamaboy jway said: "There are good militias other than the Guard."
-Whaaaat? The National Guard is not a militia at all, it's now basically a military like the Army and Navy, and it *unconstitutionally*'replaced' the once sovereign State's militias. Each Governor HAD control over it's own State militia yet the State's militias were funded by the federal govt. as the federal Constitution says, and no State militia unit or single soldier could be sent to fight overseas in a war!(as they are now)The militias could only be federalized to help with trouble in this country when needed, such as with major rioting, natural disaster relief and even border patrol but the framers insisted they never be used as a military army. But that's all done away with now,
and apparently you buffoons are OK with that.
(*hope I didn't hurt yer noggin with that multi-syllabic one jway)

In technical detail-
The Dick Act of 1903 Setup for a three tiered military/militia system.
1) National Military(regular Army, and Navy)
2)State level Militia('National Guard' as of the 1903 act) and
3) the Unregulated/Unorganized Militia (all male citizens between 17 and 45 and setup The National Guard training requirements, that Guard members must be paid, and that National Guard CAN NOT be sent outside of the US borders for ANY reason.(this alone gives us the means to charge both Bushes with crimes and impeach Obama for not bringing the troops home, plus charging him in civilian court for not stopping the already committed crime, which is his duty.) The National Guard members can not be conscripted into the National militia.(This is why people joined the guard during Vietnam and Nixon refused to send Guard units over seas)

Oh-speakin of WWII heroes, and militia, I almost forgot about this great American history->
In 1946 some ex-GIs who just returned from WWII found that their town and local govt. had been taken over by dirty rotten corrupt criminals (like the federal govt. has been as well!) They formed a MILITIA against the tyrants and it ended with a shootout!-read about The Battle of Athens and how these REAL war heroes (unlike the bums waging unconstitutional 'war' today) took matters in their own hands and took back their govt! http://polizeros.com/2009/09/14/the-battle-of...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Athens... (1946)
You can watch the Hallmark film made about it called 'An American Story'

Where are such heroes today?
few and veeery far in between...

OH LOOK! We may have at least one hero in law enforcement today willing to stand up to the damn feds!! A REAL cop (an elected sheriff) says he's actually going to stand up to the TSA tyrants and arrest any of them if they don't stop groping people's privates!-->
DA Now Sending Deputies to SF Airport to Investigate Felony Groping

"Appearing on the Alex Jones Show today, current chief deputy DA and incoming DA of San Mateo County Steve Wagstaffe said his office will prosecute TSA employees who engage in lewd and lascivious behavior while conducting Homeland Security mandated patdowns at the San Francisco International Airport in San Mateo County."
