OH how exciting and though full of the "GOV" to have it at a resort where all can bunk in and his VSP driver. How many tickets are for the general public. If any one wants my two tickets just let me know. I think I'm busy that day / night. just when is it?

His press spokesman said "because that's who he is". If that isn't a "no shirt" comment then other that you may hear are like "I know your my driver but don' let more than one in at a time" "Oh Governor it's not as big as your nose" "Oh please why now so the hell with the job and that one too. and etc. Imagine how many lies over the 3 day will be told on both sides like "just something Pete opps I meant Governer just a job or so since I voted for you twice".

I heard that:
-The entire event will be wind and solar powered.
-All food, drink, entertainment, custodial and wait staff will be from Vermont.
-All attendees will arrive via electric cars, mass transit, or bicycle.
-No animals will be harmed prior to or during the event.
-Clothing is optional
- No speeding tickets will be issued during the three days.
-Composting toilets with built in high speed laptop capability will be strategically positioned throughout Montpelier to accommodate the media.

Unfortunatly Shumlin's first entertainment pick didn't pan out.

South Burlington, Vermont -- July 5, 2009

Hooters, the franchise that made a splash when it opened its first restaurant located in Vermont, is closing. The news came quickly and without explanation.

A small group of Hooters employees was the first to break the news as they held posters on the sidewalk out front of the Williston road establishment. This would be the last day for the sports bar and restaurant. It's going out of business. But no one is saying why.

Three-and-a-half years ago, Hooter's was just preparing to open. As we reported at the time, it promised to become a popular place. Dozens of people showed up back then for a soft opening.

No one we contacted among South Burlington officials had any information to tell us as of Sunday afternoon. This Hooters was not part of the parent corporation known as Hooters of America. Instead, it operated independently under license to use the Hooters name. But all of the employees here said they were told explicitly not to talk to us.

Danielle Bressette, a Hooters worker, said, "We can't say much about it. We're closing, it's just... I don't know... basically the end of it... We love this place, but what are you going to do?"

Channel 3 was told anonymously that the restaurant is looking to liquidate all of its equipment. The manager would not allow us inside. But several customers walked in -- to enjoy the place for one last time before Hooters calls it quits in Vermont.

Because they may give the guests cooties(or radiation, or whatever else those plant people may have on them).
