A Townshend woman formerly employed as a caregiver was arraigned Monday on one felony count of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult, three felony counts of obtaining more than $900 by false pretenses and one misdemeanor count of false pretenses -- less than $900. Did you ever notice that when a man commits this kind of theft he goes to jail for years and when a woman does it she only goes away for a couple of months?
