This will translate to less fire dept. responses and headaches there and around town. Ya ya the truth hurts when you ignore the obvious in your little whimsical world of fantasy

That is what the teachers and professors are counting on.Too big and too important to fail! They have already received 26.billion in stimulus money. That is why they all vote Demquak to try and keep the likes of the great communicator and pelosi in power. Wait till things get tougher and they all start retiring early to collect their pensions?

Yes Mr. or Miss. cheeses, One that will produce honest hard working grateful individuals with common sense, even hicks and rednecks. But not some one with large vocabularies that really don't know what half the words mean but sounds impressive. Then wanting the government to support their laid back dopey way of life.

Lay off the weed flower child, congress is living proof being handed a degree doesn't mean much. The country is run by people who think they are educated, what more proof do we need universities aren't worth paying $200,000 to attend.

What we need is for people to work. Educated or not, a lazy person is a lazy person, and I see growing population of them every day in America.

The place pretends to be non-profit, when all the execs make for-profit salaries, and all they do is ask the faculty and dept chairs to keep cutting. they haven't fired anyone in all the 25 years they've been there, and the only peeps who quit are those who hate the wicked president, and directorof admisssions, or the parents who pull their kids out after realizing the place is a sham, and not a residential facility. it needs to go and let thekids find the tech schools they need so they can do something for this world.

I guess it would have been nice if Landmark let their employee's know that this article was going to be in the Reformer. So not having had a chance to see or read the Reformer on Sat, I was asked by no less then four people on Sunday if I was going to be laid off...really caught me by surprise. We have had management at LMC tell us about the RIF policy and possible job cuts, but they dropped the ball on this by not informing us (employee's) that article would be in the newspapers. Hmmmm..who is steering the boat?

LMC does not communicate

Peabody, MA

But Landmark administrators are not nice. They instill fear in all of us.Never did reviews until recently, so they have no basis for hiring or firing us. The only people who aren't worried are the kiss ass faculty who say yes maam yes sir, and do their high school level work. We just did a communications study last year, and the admin think they are communicating. How can they be when the hire an academic dean we turned down three times, and she boasts the largest bloated department, and won't fire anyone from her department. She has no experience, and we are supposed to feel good under leadership. It's as bad as the director of admissions hiring her son to be assistant director. How can we feel safe in our jobs???????
