i agree with dan. i know the difference is that the ppl chose to fight and dogs are made to fight, but i went to one in paducah and i think its crazy. i guess i just didnt realize how rough it really was... just my opinion.... i hope no one ends up really bad hurt

There are less long term injuries in MMA than in boxing. Boxing is head shot after head shot, knock down get up, knock down get up. Look at the greats like Ali. MMA has no 10 sec count. You get knocked out, youre done.

Low caliber shows do appear like human dog fights. This would explain your attitude towards. Going to watch the ones in Paducah is a good example of a bunch of untrained guys throwing wild punches just trying to take the other person's head off. Go to a better quality show and I'm sure your opinion will change.
Oh and the Murray show was definitely NOT a high quality show

Wow, that makes the sport look good. Call out a guy or two so you look tough. What is your training history, fight record..... The local fights are just disrespectful red-necks with very little skills. I have seen a school or two with talented guys that acted very professional but they have been the exception not the norm.

I was at the Murray fights last month and they sucked. The people that put on the show have no idea how to run a show. Was this their first time to put on a show? Where were these fighters from? This Roger guy sounds like a douche.

I grew up in MO and the shows there weren't great but holy cow.....at least the MO guys wouldn't tire out after a few punches.
