Yes Sandra it is sad. However I think it's something how everyone is boo hooing his Facebook page up and down saying that. He should not have to go to jail because he is sorry and it was an accident and that those kids chose to drink and get into his car.

He still killed 3 people. Those kids did have a choice. However has they known that they were going t be killed that evening none of them would have gone.

It's sad but true. If you commit a crime you are going to be punished.

I have been to jail myself for doing a lot lot less.

Jail is exactly where he belongs.. And hopefully for a long time. Many years in jail is a small price for him to pay for his life. The families of the other people involved will never see there kids again.

His teenaged friends may think It it's sad, not right or unfair. But welcome to the real world. He is an adult and has to face the adult conciquences for his actions.

It seems that the killing of 3 of his friends while driving under the influence. Did not stop him from partying it up with his other friends. Since The accident in November.

On the other hand. I do not agree with his choice to drink and race around in a fast car. However. I am sure he thought that they all would be fine. And most likely had done this several times before. I feel most certain that he did not start out the evening with the intent to hurt and kill people. And hopefully. That will be taken toto consideration at his hearing.

Once again my prayers go out to him and his family along with the families of the other 3 boys.

Yes this is true but when are they going to go after the adult that bought them the alcohol. Whoever they were they bought it and should be held liable. It is against the law to supply alcohol to minors!! They should be sitting in jail right along side of him.

Mother, I never even thought about that. You are right an "of age" adult should be heald responsible for some of this as well.

If it was actually an adult that bought it, you know how rumors start. But I am passing on what I heard shortly after the accident.

And that was that the alcohol. Well at least the beer was purchased at a local establishment. And the person selling it at the store knew who ever bought it. Possibly a friend and just sold it to them. Rumor also goes on to say that that person was fired shortly after this...

That entire last paragraph is just here say and is not known to be a fact.

However the fact remains that this is totally possible.. Either way. If an adult bought it then they should be charged. And if another underage knowingly. Sold it to a fellow underager, then they should be healy responsible as well.

This was no accident because it could have been prevented 100%.

He knowingly got into a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, let his friends get into his vehicle knowing he was under the influence of alcohol, and drove recklessly over the speed limit which resulted in the deaths of his friends and serious injuries to himself.

Every one which could have been prevented....

Three families have lost their grandsons, sons, and brothers over his poor judgement and no matter how "sorry" he is the fact is his actions killed three young men and he needs punished to the fullest extent of the law.

The same with anyone or establishment that sold/provided these kids the alcohol.

these bous were being young. imnot saying what that did wasnt worng but all of them were under the influence that night. Anyonr of them could have been behind the wheel that night. Its not like blair wanted this to happen. they were best friends. your making a huge mistake putting this kid through hell becuase of something that was an exident. He could be in there for at least 30 years. He will be missing out on his whole life. i dont think thats what his best friends would want for him. Think about it. Hes 19 and already has been through so much....it was just an excident. everyone makes mistakes. FREE BLAIR.

Him and his friends made their choices. No one held a gun to their heads and made them drink, get drunk, and drive recklessly.

His actions killed three human beings and broke many laws and he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Sorry doesn't bring back three wasted young men's lives.

If he does get 30 years in prison it will give him time to reflect about the lifetime his friends and their families will never see because of his actions....

Sorry to sound harsh but I have zero tolerance/compassion for anyone who chooses to drink and drive.

They were teenage boys doing what teenage boys in this area do. I'am not saying it is right but it could of been yours or mine in the same spot. Either that be dead or alive. How would you feel? Praying that your child doesn't die from childhood stupidity. Getting them back home and helping them heal, just to lose them again. Can you even fathom what his parents are going through? Yes 3 boys are not here but this is NOT going to bring them back either. Blair will suffer for the rest of his life for a childhood decision that will haunt him. He will be jailed with hardened criminals. That is a scary thought! They will teach him even worse things than you can imagine. My heart goes out to everyone of those families. The boys that lost their lifes, their parents know they can't be hurt anymore. Blairs Mom and Dad will worry for him everyday, that's alot for parents of a young boy to deal with. His whole family needs to be shown some compation. Mr Obvious that very well could be your child. And how would you feel then? Just remember you can't hold their hand always!!!!

These "children" were 18 and 19 years old. They were no longer "children" but adults, responsible for their actions. They were old enough to know right from wrong. They held jobs, were able to vote, etc. If you are caught doing "wrong" you pay for it. Sadly, three of them paid with their lives, and the parents will be asking themselves "where did I go wrong in raising my son" for the rest of their lives.

There, but for the grace of GOD, go I.

I am female and yes, I, too have done this sort of thing--- but managed to come out the other side!
Not- just boys do this sort of crazy thing ! As the years have gone by I have also found out my children also have do these things, They, too have come out the other side, but several of their friends have died ! It's GOD"S ultimate decison who goes and who stays ! It our individual decision on the action .

Sandara, I too did the dumb stunts when I was young. Thank God I survived. My kids also did and they survived. I worry about my grandchildren now. Being young is harder now days with peer pressure and so much more. This should be a painful lesson for all the teens in this area but it won't because they believe they are indistructable. My heart goes out to ALL of the families.

This entire situation just stinks ! Yes, Blair should get some type of punishment from the law, but if the other boys' parents don't want him put in prison who are we to force this issue ? My personal feelings go both ways ! I would like to think that I could forgive him and let him go on with his life as punishment (enough) It could have been any one of them that was driving, he just happened to be the one. How many millions of times have kids done just that ? I know I did, but luckily nothing ever happened. My sympathy goes to ALL the families of ALL the boys, life will never be the same for anyone

Yes the whole situation is scary and crazy but down to the point, he did break the law, dont get me wrong i aint bashing on the kid, i wish it never happened, and i dont want to see blair in jail but it did happen and yea he has to pay the penalty, the court system cant just let him slip through just because he lost his best friends, i mean think about people what if it was your kids, or someone that wasnt as popular as blair, you'd think he got what he deserved. Drinking and driving is illegal for people 21 and old enough to drink let alone a minor. Yea its a horrible incident but blair seen this coming, thats why he told the cops it was him driving and not someone else. I hope he gets the least sentence they can give and he gets out early. Just a horrible horrible situation.
