Oh really? Let me tell you what I heard "You can leave your job to become a musician or whatever and have healthcare coverage."

There goes those Democrats, promoting responsibility again.

you are lying. She is talking about the fact that under the Affordable Care Act you don't have to worry about being rejected for preexisting conditions when you have to apply for a new insurance policy if you need to change your job or start a business.
Funny. I didn't hear any of that. What I heard is "you can leave your job." Leave your job, as in quit, stop going there, stay home and play your guitar while others pay for your healthcare.

Stupid and brainwashed is seeing something racist that isn't. Of course, that applies to most liberals.

You have a credible site that states 3/4 of all bankruptcies are due to medical costs?

It's like the lyrics in a song called The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkle. In the song, they wrote "A mean hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest." It perfectly describes a liberal.

"Think of an economy where people could be an artist or a photographer, a writer without worrying about keeping their day job in order to have health insurance. Or that people could start a business and be entrepreneurial and take risks, but not be job-locked because a child has a child has asthma or diabetes or someone in the family is bipolar. You name it, any condition is job-locking. Think of a situation where we can be internationally competitive because we don't have this weight on us that other countries, that other businesses really don't have in other countries because they don't have this expense of health care which will all be reined in, those costs, under this bill.

We cannot afford the status quo. We will make this difference, and it will make a wonderful difference in the lives of our people, but also in the vitality of our economy. That's what we want people to talk about."

LOL! Wow!

OK, maybe you're seeing something I'm not. Read her quote AGAIN...slowly.

"We see it as an entrepreneurial bill," Pelosi said in 2012. "A bill that says to someone, if you want to be creative and be a musician or whatever, you can leave your work, focus on your talent, your skill, your passion, your aspirations because you will have health care. You won’t have to be job locked."

Now, tell me where I'm lying. Please be specific.

So who pays for these mopes health care after they quit their "day job"?
Who foots the bill while they waste who knows how many years before finally figuring out they're no Picasso or Poe?

And WHO is going to pay for all of that?
By what method do you propose that such a payment might be extracted?
Will it be by FORCE?
Will OTHERS be MADE to PAY through the NOSE in order for such a scheme to be successful?
Will OTHERS be FORCED to work more than one job in order for that UTOPIA of yours, to happen?
And WHO has the RIGHT to have 'health insurance' at EVERYONE ELSE'S EXPENSE?

The New World Order traitors have so much power because Republicans (including Tea Party parasites) are:
1. Only loyal to the PARTY, not the country, making them traitors. The Federal Reserve is a private corporation, and the Rothschilds and other stockholders created all the wars we fight, because they became the wealthiest people on earth by war profiteering and banking crimes.
2. Too lazy to WORK = research and think for themselves, so they’re always puppets of the Republican Elite propaganda-writers.
3. Too gutless to face the truth, that Republicanism is treason because the New World Order will DESTROY the USA as a sovereign nation. 4. They’re political idiots, too dumb to know who’s running the country -- the ‘secret government’- the same one that executed JFK.
5. Too arrogant to admit they’re wrong. They’ll keep voting for the rich to get richer, and their own families to be destroyed, rather than admit liberals were right all along.

Yeah, that one starts with "Once upon a time", and ends with "they all lived happily ever after". The only problem is, THAT'S A FAIRYTALE!

So, now the free spirit has healthcare covered, food stamps, Welfare, government housing...

Don't forget, working people are paying for all that. Working people are a dying breed. The numbers of working people are dwindling. Where is the tax revenue going to come from? Businesses are going out of business. Taxes will have to be raised on everyone, not just the wealthy. More businesses will go out of business. More unemployed will need all the freebies. But then, there won't be any.

Taxes on business have never caused one to fail. Taxes on a business is based on profit. Business makes money they pay taxes. No profit then no taxes. You Repub always list the problem coming from the poor. How about the fact that most millionaires and billionaires now pay a tax rate of 15%. How about the fact that America spends more than the next 10 nations on defense combined. How about the fact that the rich CEOs have closed 22,000 factories in the US over the past 20 years leaving 5.5 million without a job. And I did mean the RICH CEOs did it. I have never heard of a worker on a factory floor tell his fellow workers we need to close and ship this to China.

Why do you think the factory moved to China? Taxes on business reduces the profit. Most business must make a profit margin to survive when that margin is reduced then it is no longer viable. Increasing taxes on business never helped the business or those who would be unemployed without that business. Paying for the food, housing, medical care for the lazy from working peoples pocket never helped the working people. Hey if the CEOS want to close their factory it's their choice if you don't like it then open your own factory, but wait that would make you one of the rich. You know nothing of economics or how hard it is to get a company to survive. Go check your mail box and see if your check has arrived.

Do you own a business? There's license fees charged by numerous government agencies.
But, you miss the point. There are more people sucking up the tax revenue everyday. Thus taxes will go up. Don't forget, Obamacare is 21 taxes. Don't forget, business owners have to pay those higher taxes, themselves, employees, license fees, equipment, supplies,... Then deal with personal income tax on what they paid themselves.

Prove taxes on a business has never caused one to fail.

And if that artist, photographer or writer can't support himself and provide for his own insurance, it is NOT society's responsibility to provide it for him.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY truly is a foreign ideal to you isn't it.
