It's much more productive to use supportable facts and sources to support our position...not provide doubt.

Providing chiseled in stone facts to progressives has accomplished absolutely nothing.
I do know what you are saying however.

Very true regarding providing facts...thanks for the response.

Well, I'm not sure whether or not you can make a charge of treason stick. I checked the constitution, and although the second amendment does talk about the right to keep and bear arms, it doesn't mention "semi-automatic pistols that use a detachale box magazine". Even if she tried to introduce a bill banning all firearms, that wouldn't really be treason. Unconstitional maybe, but not treason.
You would be correct on one point. It wouldn’t be treason and the proposed legislation would indeed be unconstitutional.

I find it interesting you’re using terms the idiot liberal politicians use. Have you ever fired a gun? Your history of posts indicate a very limited knowledge of firearms.

Feinstein comes out as a gun owner, in fact there is a photo of her holding a rifle in a very unsafe fashion. Now Obama has come out saying he shoots. Both are surrounded by armed security people. Why shouldn’t we have that same protection?

Well, he says that the bill bans all arms. This is incorrect. The bill contains about 900 exemptions.
The idea that any senator or any member of the house would propose a bill outlawing all firearms is patently absurd.
The bill Feinstein introduced to the senate is absurd.

The bill on page two mentions pistol grip and forward grip. How do either of those make a rifle more dangerous? I don’t care for either feature, feels unnatural to me. The traditional rifle stock is far more comfortable.

Then on page three it goes into folding, telescoping or detachable stocks. What’s the difference? A telescoping stock only allows better comfort to the shooter. ALL stocks are detachable. Then it goes on with features for semi-automatic pistols. What difference does it make where the magazine fits?

Page 4 mentions semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm. Really? Come on, the AR-15 is a civilian version of the M16. The limitations on shotguns are equally absurd. All shotguns with a revolving cylinder? There goes the Circuit Judge which only fires .45LC and .410.

Page 5 outright bans the AR-15, but that was also banned on page 4. The AR-15 is one of the most popular rifles sold today. There’s literally millions of them in circulation.

The remainder of the bill is equally absurd. Have you actually read it?

There's a link to the full text of the bill here http://reason.com/blog/2013/01/27/feinsteins-...

How have the GOPers persuaded America to buy into the myth of Obama THE BIG SPENDER when the opposite is true?!
• In fiscal 2010 (the first Obama budget) spending fell 1.8% to $3.46 trillion.
• In fiscal 2011, spending rose 4.3% to $3.60 trillion.
• In fiscal 2012, spending is set to rise 0.7% to $3.63 trillion, according to the
• Finally in fiscal 2013 — the final budget of Obama’s term — spending is scheduled to fall 1.3% to $3.58 trillion. CBO’s estimate of the budget that was agreed to last August.

What you fail to mention is each year the debt load has substantially increased. Obama increased the debt in four years than Bush did in eight years. Mid-year 2013 he will have incurred more debt than all presidents in the history of this nation. Our debt is already greater than GDP. Do you know what GDP is?

What is wrong with politicians thinking we can spend without worrying about repaying the borrowed money? Then you think Obama is doing a great job. He’s killing this nation.

There is no budget for 2013. Even your own numbers indicate Obama has increased spending.

And just because he killed Martin, it doesn't necessarily equate to murdering him. A TON of evidence supports Zimmerman's claim that he shot Martin in self-defense. And that is called "reasonable doubt" in the eyes of the law. The jury must find him guilty BEYOND reasonable doubt. Hell, there is still a question as to if this will ever go to trial.

What is your evidence that Zimmerman killed Martin without justification to do so??? And remember, it has to be evidence "beyond reasonable doubt" to get a conviction.

I agree but Bush was no better especially when him and the Republicans added 7 trillion dollars to the federal deficit for the program Medicare Part D that wasnt paid for and everything that Bruce Bartlett predicted in 2005 in his book "Impostor, How George W. Bush Bankrupted America and Betrayed the the Reagan Legacy" and all came true in 2008 when economy tanked besides all obligations that were created by G.W. Bush the economy isnt there to pay for these obligations as forcasted by G.W. Bush and the only alternative is to borrow to pay the obligations.

Bruce Bartlett on Where the Right Went Wrong

Bill Moyers talks with conservative economist Bruce Bartlett, who wrote "the bible" for the Reagan Revolution, worked on domestic policy for the Reagan White House, and served as a top treasury official under the first President Bush. Now he's a heretic in the conservative circles where he once was a star. Bartlett argues that right-wing tax policies -- pushed in part by Grover Norquist and Tea Party activists -- are destroying the country's economic foundation.

Zimmerman was the one chasing Martin. He was the only one with a pre loaded weapon. His was the only weapon discharged, which resulted in a death.

The justification is being used by Zimmerman. Martin doesn't need one. He's clearly the victim at this point.

Murdoch did an incredibly brilliant thing (for himself and investors) when he started Fox in the U.S.

I owned a cable TV system at the time and CNN was expensive.

Murdoch told small and middle-sized cable operators he would give them a 24-hour (so-called) news station FREE. He then told advertisers they could have input into what was broadcast on his channels.

It was a good deal for cable operators and for advertisers. But it may well have resulted in irreparable harm to the United States, as many people see only FOX and don't have enough accurate information to make good choices.

If uninformed people could understand that Fox has nothing to do with news and everything to do with putting forth the view of its advertisers, our nation would have a better chance to regain its former stature.
