Not likely if it goes through a person first. Our instructor is now a deputy sheriff. He explained that police departments use hollow points for that very reason; so they don't go through two or three people or into a house after you hit the subject. So when I leave the house, I'm armed with hollow points only.
Misunderstood what you were saying. You didn't state AFTER hitting someone. Not too many handgun rounds have that much energy. High velocity rifle rounds are a different story.

And don't go anywhere near New Jersey with hollowpoint ammunition. It is illegal for civilian use punishable by two years (if memory serves) FOR EACH ROUND.

It could also be cheap, low quality ammo. The only time I ever had a jam of any kind in my .45 was with one particular brand (after maybe 2,500 ronds put through it).

A small device such as you describe would destroy more than one home. Why would anyone go through the expense of create such a device when a stick of dynamite would be cheaper and would absolutely destroy a home.

Youíre not correct, youíre just desperate to be right.

Better question: WTF is an assault weapon?
There is a political definition. Under proposed law if you were to add one of the features outlined you would turn a Ruger 10/22 into a feared assault weapon.

I own over 20 guns......That is not the point here though is it........
Really? There are no new laws at the federal level. There are proposals, some of which include confiscation.

New York in itsí rush to create new legislation put some cops in violation of the law with their service weapons if fully loaded.

As usual, youíre wrong. Youíre always wrong. I would think you would be used to it by now.

Since you need 15 rounds to hit anything you might end up killing your family or neighbors with the stray bullets....
You would limit the second amendment to home defense only? I have several weapons loaded for home defense. Two of them hold four shells, one holds 7+1 and a revolver with 6.

I do own several high capacity magazines for target practice. But, you would assume high capacity magazines would only be used for killing. Who said anything about shooting until the magazine is empty?

A shotgun isnít always the best weapon for home defense.

Wrong again bike boy.

I am sure Obama would be all for metal detectors....they have them at shcool his girls go to...
A metal detector would only alert, not stop.

You must have missed the 2007 shooting in a Cleveland inner city school.

I do have have a conceal carry permit and belong to a gun club and shoot often....And again I will say best gun for home defense is a shotgun.....If a guy is comeing at me in dark and he is 20 feet away and I blast him with my 12 gauge he wont be moving anytime soon....Oh and if I miss him I wont kill my kids sleeping in next room through the wall..
You clearly donít know about firearms if you believe that. A shotgun blast can easily breach a wall if you miss. Not only will the pellets continue through the wall the debris from the wall will now be flying. If you actually were familiar with firearms you would know one of the basic safety rules, know whatís beyond your target.

Youíre a poser.

I think thet should make a small pistol style shotgun....That would be great gun to carry for conceal carry.....You could blow a perp apart but not kill person behind or to side of him if you miss.
They do make reproductions of the old Lamatt...Which is 6 shot revolver of 45 cal with one single 20 gauge in center....
There is a small concealable shotgun pistol. Itís a Taurus Judge. Only a .410. There was talk of them coming out with a 20 gauge version. The 20 gauge version could be concealed by most people.

Get into 12 gauge and about as small as youíre going to get is the size of a flare gun. Not very concealable for the average person.

My "luck" is better with my revolver..One it is twice as accurate as a wild shooting semi....Also my 44 mag will take your head off...hard to shoot with no head....RIGHT????
Youíve just proven youíre a poser. A revolver isnít twice as accurate as a semi-automatic. I own both semi-automatic pistols and revolvers. Accuracy is nearly identical. If anything in double action mode for an experienced shooter the accuracy will be slightly diminished due to long heavy trigger pull.

The 44 magnum wonít take a head off. Even my 45-70 and .500 revolvers typically wouldnít take a head off. Both are substantially more powerful than a 44.

It possibly could kill someone on the other side of the wall. Typical trap is 7 Ĺ or 8 shot. Watch the entire video. Get educated.

The wall at 30í. The wall was penetrated by birdshot. The target on the back side of the wall showed damage. Yes, risk is indeed limited by using birdshot but isnít eliminated.

But, 30í wouldnít be your typical distance in a home invasion. From 9í the wall was easily penetrated by bird shot. If someone was on the other side was hit they would either be seriously hurt or possibly killed.

You're wrong again. Are you surprised?
