Congratulations on staying on the job.
Anyone calling in sick [with respect to the Milwaukee and Madison teachers walking off the job and calling in sick] should be required to have a doctor's excuse to return to the job. If not, they should be reprimanded. Then they get a pink slip and shown the door. That's what the working people have to do - those people that pay their own way to the tune of $750 [and that's a favorable rate] to #3,000 per month for insurance premiums for themselves and their families. Unfortunately, they have no say in how much they are taxed to support the Wisconsin hidden welfare system. It's beyond ridiculous when three of us have to pay the way for the other seven.
Wisconsin has long had a reputation for giving out welfare, to the point that people cross the state line to get it. In this case, the government is handing it out, compliments of that scoundrel Doyle, to every person claiming employment by the state of Wisconsin.
It would be different, perhaps, if our children were taught with the quality that would prepare them to compete in today's world. All those teachers are teaching is to look for a hand-out. There is no conscience, no commitment to excel in their professions. Did they become teachers only to get a free ride? It's time to pay, and now!

I think the real GOP agenda is to destroy public education. By removing a majority of the population from the educated pool, then those that have an education will face less competition to keep what they have.
