A few nights back I was traveling home from work when I noticed a car speeding up behind me. The car followed me two miles before turning and following up my rather long drive way. It was about 3am (I work 2nd shift) so I was concerned what this person was following me for! If it would have been police or a traffic stop they would have turned there lights on. So after sitting in my vehicle for a moment I got out and approached the vehicle that had followed me home. To my surprise it was an unmarked police call on a prowler call some 3 miles away. Not once did the officer use his lights or siren nor did he identify or get out of the vehicle. The next day I contacted the chief of police about filing a formal complaint. The chief of police agreed the officer failed to follow policy and procedures but his excus was and I quote "The officer was probably a little excited, we're all a little on edge after the tech shooting" Its nice to know the police don't feel the need to do there job correctly when there "excited" or "on edge" What I'd like to is what would've happened if I'd picked up the knife from my passenger seat to question the person following me home at 3am?
