Why not have a Kane Mr. Aloha Hula as well as a Ms Aloha Hula? Seems strange to just single out the wahine dancer.
Who can make such a decision? Put it up for a vote! I am sure with the marvelous Kane dancers there would be some wonderful candidates put forward!!

As wonderful as it may sound, adding those 3 categories would add an additional 3 nights to the competition for a total of 5 nights. It would be too costly for halau as well spectators. Would the judges be willing to judge an additional 3 nights?
