Just look at the lack of people already using light rail. There is a rush hour twice a day and then it just goes back and forth empty all day..Much like the RTD buses..Its a huge waste of money for just a few commuters.People need cars to carry their stuff..Cant take stuff on rails..Too much adverse weather and other factors to make this something worth investing in. Id say if private investors would take it on then fine but not taxpayers that will never use it. Id say add more lanes to the overcrowded 2 lane highway. Its something everyone will use...Why waste 2.5 million on researching it ?? Just tell us up front how much it will cost taxpayers and then tell us how much to use it and studies will be concluded in no time.. Colorado doesnt have the money..
