Do you have any idea of how much sodium is in our drinking water here in Pueblo? Its enough to crash a weight loss diet, undermine a special cardiac diet as well as just plain always giving us swollen feet and puffy eyes. Our water department vows that they are within the sodium limit allowed by law BUT - how much is that? Visitors to our fair city are stunned by the feeling of fingers so swollen that they can't make a fist and feet so swollen that they can hardly stand it. Do a test - drink only distilled water for several days - you will lose weight and feel more energetic. It's a lot more fun to look good than it is to look like one has been on a bender all night all swollen up (just because of huge amounts of sodium)!
If you want to be fit and healthy, we MUST force our water department to change the way that they purify our water! The cheapest way to purify water is to force it through a salt barrier. This is works to cleanse the water but it certainly doesn't enhance a healthy or a long life. The TV Channel 7 investigaters found that this problem warranted investigation but lacked the ability to spend money to do the testing. If you can afford to have our water tested for sodium testing, it would be a great service to our residents!!! Our many fine physicians would surely appreciate a healthier, less sodium laced lifestyle for their patients.
