It`s not just patrol men. If you drive I55 you will see anybody from fire chiefs to coroners driving at least 20 miles above the limit. If I knew that I would never get a ticket like them I would too.

WHO are the negro patrolman who filed this suit? another NAACP blackmail attempt. IS MHP INVOLVED IN ACORN?

I work at a burger joint and the owner lets us eat for free. And on another note I have a good friend who is a policeman that was speeding and was pulled over. He got a ticket and paid it sooo. You are pro law but think that an officer speeding is screwing up?? Everyone speeds at some point and time.

Not calling anyone a liar but if your friend the police paid a ticket I just don`t believe it. Also, I believe that the police should follow the same law as the rest of us. Just because everyone is doing it doesn`t make it right. I`m still pro law, just not blind.

On 10/6/09 At 3:28 PM; a white Ford F-150, with a single lid tool box; tag #G27325 and "Miss Dept of Corrections" on the tailgate, ran a red light on Lakeland Drive, southbound. I don't think he was on his way to a call, just busy breaking the law because he can...

On 10/6/09, at 4:54 pm, on I-55 north, mile marker 111. Jackson Police Dept car # 1151, was driving over 85 mph. They got off the Madison exit at 4:55 pm. As the car was labeled "traffic" and he was out of his jurisdiction, I don't think he was on a call, Just breaking the law...

So why dont you all just shut up and get down and do whats rite. blue and grey forever baby!!!! LOL!!! Hey Im good because as long as you're cute, you can get away with speeding most of the time, and get a phone number instead!:-)

andy wrote: think before YOU speak. the officer had no sirens on, he was approaching a burglary and had turned audible off. as not to scare away the suspect. And the teen had a bac of .07 wich is below the legal limit for adults(.08) but over for someone under 21(.02). its a technicallity !!! the officer was going 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. while not fully responsible,he does bear some responsibility. a cop killed a kid. bottom line. did the kid see the cop comming?if so why didnt he yield? HE IS A KID did the cop see the kid comming?if so why didnt he slow down? HE IS A COP!!!!!!! hard case to decide.. but dont just write the kid off...honestly.07 bac. the kid was not wasted at all. Dead on! Brandon officer DID NOT have siren on & was traveling at a "minimum" of 72mph in a 45 zone. The 19 year old was driving 12mph as he was taking off from a stop sign. From what others have posted both cars landed almost 300 feet away-WOW! 300 ft, if the minimum was 72, what was the maximum speed the officer was traveling?

abc wrote: whatever concerned. The kid had been drinking and marijuana in his system per the autopsy. The Officer had lights and sirens on, the camera in the patrol car will show that.. Think before you speak. Recently released: the Brandon officer involved in this wreck was driving with a 16 year old in his front passenger seat at the time of the wreck. Did anyone hear of this when the story first came out-NO! Seems the police didn't want this info to leak out but they sure got the 19yr olds BAC level in the papers. Also, the dash camera apparently has come up "missing" since being taken to the Brandon police dept. Hmmm!.

Think before you speak. Per the autopsy! You actually believe this autopsy-tox report coming from Rankin County officials? If the on-board camera could have proven the officers innocence, it would have been given to the media immediately. Instead, it's come up missing.
