As they say "the proof is in the pudding".
No one knows how much oil will ultimately be recovered from those very long, horizontal holes where the permeability has been artificially enhanced.
Until then the reserve potential is just a guess.
It is entirely possible ,if oil prices fell to $60/bbl, this effort will prove uneconomical!!!

Some people say that there is more oil in prudhoe bay than all the world combined, is that stretch ?
