How are we gonna pay for 2 wars that have already cost America nearly a trillion dollars without higher taxes?

Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were adamant about the seperation of church and state as well as having and maintaining religious freedom. I think that the tea party should quit with the personal freedom nonesense. They are nothing more than an extreme right wing Christian group. This is the opposite of two of our more important forefathers vision of our democracy.

So why does the tea party folks keep saying, bringing America back to what I forefathers intended?

If you want REAL change, and want to bring the government back to it's constitutional limits and spending levels, you better hear out and vote for James Quigley. Both Republicans and Democrats got us into the mess we are in today, neither party cares about the Constitution, vote for someone who does, James Quigley.

I'm not concerned what gays do behind closed doors. Or you, or anybody else for that matter. I can't understand how a person is denied the same right every heterosexual person has because you don't agree with it. You could go back to smoker's rights. I was glad to see smoking bands implemented. Smoking is a right that infringes on the rights of others. Therefore it should be looked at in the best interest of the persons affected. Gay marriage doesn't impact any other citizens in a harmful way.

We keep hearing, uphold the Constitution, getting back to what the forefathers designed America to be. However, the tea party seems as though they want to impose a Christian religion on citizens and add a religious annotation to the Constitution. Gun rights, state rights, and anti anything that isn't right wing is hardly what the forefathers or the Constitution called for.

Bush wasn't the uniter either. Not sure if any one person can bridge the gap in this day and age. Quite frankly, I am more concerned at the divide tea party candidates would provide. I don't support any party. However, I suppose I would be considered a far left liberal. The main questions I have about the tea party seem to go unanswered.

Most candidates are anti everything. Anti-environment, gay, abortion, etc. Seems as though the only things important are religion, guns, and no taxes. Now, if a tea party candidate was elected and a gay marriage bill was voted in by a state election, how far would they go to repeal that. Thus, my concern is, how much of the Constitution or state rights are they going to uphold?

Noted. I see the legitmate argument there. However, aren't tea party candidates going to negotiate and navigate the Constitution in such a manner that it suits them? Politicians are politicians.
