It really depends on the color of your skin..if you have no children then it is ok. If you have children ... go to Dutch Fork zoned areas

The schools are excellent and it's a small town with a BIG heart! Dutch Fork area of Irmo is a part of Irmo that is zoned for the Dutch Fork High School. Things might change in zoning soon because they are building a new High School between Dutch Fork and Chapin. In the end, you need a good Realtor that is going to understand your lifestyle and your commute to work. What kind of things you ike to do in your free time or with your family. Those things are important in your decision because a good floor plan can be found in either area with a Realtor that knows the areas well.

we are thinking of move to Chapin because of the schools. I've heard over and over that the schools are great. My kids will be in HS soon. One is into football and basketball and the other is into dance and art. Is there anything for kids to do in Chapin or nearby? skating rinks; bowling; clubs; etc? What about parents? What do parents do in Chapin? We are from the city so there is ALWAYS something going on. Just curious...
