Desere has been my gym trainer for the past 8 weeks. I was a student of hers. This just breaks my heart!! The 2 18 yr old boys who did this will pay!!!

Our prayers are with the Thornton and Rodriquez families and for those responsible for any foul or malicious act causing this reality check for us all that we are not promised tomorrow and should not take anything for granted or waste any time securing our eternity with Christ.

Jared was an awsome kid. its just so hard to see him go this way. He made me laugh when i didnt feel like it. Its terrifing to know that he has been killed. I know the entire family was Christians and i know there in a better place and we will see them again.

Because the teenager admitted he was the one who killed all three victims, state should not waste money on a trial and then possibly an appeal trial. They should automatically send the guilty to a death sentenance and do it within a 4-6 week period. Time and money should not be wasted on something so clear.

Do they own cars? Did they get the gas nearby? Why cant there be request for ID

I understand that the news has a position to report things such as this tragedy, BUT the fact that a news camera and van were outside our high school football game was absolutely disrespectful. Sheriff Helton is right, everybody knows everybody here and we all knew Desree or the kids somehow, and you think ya'll would have the decency to give the school a few days grace perion before causing such an uncessary panic of fear of being interviewed about the story. Next time why dont you ask the school officials how they might feel about you being there. Not only was the school trying to manage the routine Friday night schedules of a lot of kids, it was also a community trying to manage and process the loss of a friend. Save the gas next time and stay in Nashville. You didnt find out anything at the school that you didnt already know and it's a horrible thing you sitting there all night making a fuss.

Too Many young people in this country seem not to have any understanding of morals. Public execution for this 18 year old animal would be to easy on him.

How tragic that more and more of our young people are responsible for horrific crimes like this. What are we teaching our children, and who are we allowing to be their examples, if they have so little regard for human lives? It makes you stop and think - or at least it should....

I am in shock! I went to church with the family that passed away. I hurt so bad for them. You just want to scream WHY? This was a wonderful, good family who loved everyone and was so open hearted to accept everyone. It comforts me greatly to know that they are in heaven. It doesn't make the shock and pain g away but knowing they aren't in pain anymore is a gift from God. I am also friends with the mother of the other boy who is a suspect. I am soooooo angry that these boys would do something so horrific and they deserve worse than what the courts can do to them! While it is hard to have any compassion for hese boys, please remember their families in prayer too. I know it is what Deseree would want. These families were all friends which makes this all so much more horrific!!! Deseree welcomed Jerrod's friends with open arms and would always do whatever she could to help any of them. This all is just so crazy, a nightmare!!!

All I can say is that he is no Angel and I hope the other suspect is arrested and they are prosecuted to the fullest extent. We all need to be accountable for our actions.
