My grandparents who lived in Morton used to take me, my sister and cousins to Playtown in the early summer evenings during the 50's. I remember the roller coaster being gigantic which it was to a little girl. I loved the little train that went around the entire park. Wonderful memories.

Great memories of playtown park growing up in Morton it was the main place to go for fun. Used to hop the train by the tunnel, played lots of pinball, our school OLPH used to have an annual day and you would get a ticket book for rides and games. My family moved to California in the summer of 1968 and I got in one last Playtown Park day the day before moving. Hi to Ken Wareham my friend growing up who lived right behind Playtown and fellow train hopper.
