BUT IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON MOST OF ALL. I think Brian should make a plan, and attend the meetings regularly, learn what programs we have in our community and how well they are being handled, etc., etc. THEN maybe you will garner more support.
The problems arise because most people think they can put their name in the hat, and don't have the foggiest first hand knowledged of the legal ramifications of serving the community.
I would suggest you get to the meetings, and perhaps next year you will be ready for a Town position.
Good Luck for the NEXT election

while I have supported Brian...I thought it would be a no brainer that anyone interested in running for a position would be making meetings. I would hope he has been making some meetings as his schedule allows.

Brian's schedule if he is elected MUST ALLOW HIM TO BE ACTIVE AT ALL MEETIGS, AND LEARN THE TOWN'S NEEDS. The wording indicating he has a schedule that may not allow him to make meetings is an important factor. I would like to know the answer to that....will Brian be able to attend all the required town meetings?

He may have been appointed by Bill Hasenauer when Bill was first elected. I know he attended VERY FEW if any.

Remember, to know what you are doing with the newer machines and the paper ballots. Act on who you want elected this year in the primary, at the polls. Take your time when you fill in your primary ballot. If you have to write in a name, be sure it is spelled correctly, and in the right spot on the ballot so the machine can record it properly. Call the election board if you need an absentee ballot.

Unless it has changed recently, the positions on the Planning Board are appointive. There is one lady who it seems has been on there for years and years.
Although I don't recall seeing the names listed anywhere unless they are on the Planning Board Site.
Anyone know where they find the appointed listing every year, please post it here.

Pat ....I understand your comment...but please don't misunderstand Brian's comment. I'm familiar with the history of people on Bear Creek and I do believe what Brian meant was that his family goes back to the early settlers on Bear Creek.... The Isleys might have been the first ones as you said....but Brian's family was one of the early settlers on Bear Creek.
I think Native wants Brian the slob to do him again.
