My child is in college now but he played fyfl he loved it my son is no sissy but coaches in fyfl need better coach they only play there children and kids give up and when they get to high school they have 23 kids on the team and no quarterbacks no defensive because kids quit or dont get the opportunity to show there talent.

What does the HS have to do with FYFL. Youth football in no way sponsered by or affiliated with Fairland Schools other than the name. If you have a problem with HS football go to a board meeting crybaby. P.S. glad your kid went to college because your grammer is terrible.

I think the negative replies on this thread speak volumes about the regressive attitude of the community. It's no wonder the people who try to make changes to improve Proctorville throw their hands up and step back. For a school district to produce such outstanding state test results, yet fail to nurture good work ethic, motivation, and common sense leaves me scratching my head in amazement.

Well here we go, our team that went 9-0 is all up to D team on how far they go, what a shame that the E team has done so well. Congrats Boys but those are the rules of the tourney

Now for a gripe 6 kids are moving up to D team for the tourney, guess what its either coaches sons, team mothers son etc. You have a little one that crys each time he gets hit, and yes I have been to every practice and game. So he can run, but only reason he can run is because of the line not because of his ability. So why not let the best players, that is why I still feel that coaches shouldn't coach their son.

But once again congrats boys for a fine year.

Hmmmmm.....here's a thought. Maybe moving some of the players up for the games ahead gives your team more of an opportunity to continue playing? Seems like the D-Team was 6-1 and has a good chance of moving on. Of course if you would stick around to watch those games you might already know that.

Oh but wait, you want to stick that "undefeated" trophy up on the stage where you can sit on it rather than support the team and league. And which team was undefeated....the Junior Varsity or the Junior Junior Varsity?

Get on board or get off the train! A D-Team parent!

First of all I'm not a parent of any of these kids but I know for a fact the boys that got moved up aren't all coaches sons or team mom's son, they are good enough to move up and help out. One boy for sure because the Dteam wanted him all year long. Why don't people sit back and encourage these little ones instead of always cutting someone down.

Who are you trying to tell these lies to? Everyone that knows robby turner knows that he is all talk. He is not tough, he is not mean, well not to a grown man that is. Robby likes to talk big to little kids and women. But I will promise you, he couldn't whip his way from a wet paper bag. He's nothing but a fat, lazy, no good for nothing, thief.
