I have no complaints about the FYFL, but I want to tell you something. Why would we not drop them off when we were locked out of cheer practice this year? If I cant watch, why would I sit out in the hall for 2 hrs?
Besides, some of us have several children in several activities in several places at once, so its impossible to be everywhere at once. So, Im not looking for an FYFL BABYSITTER, just so you know, its just all I can do to work and get all the kids to where they need to be and back by myself!
Exactly! If you can work a 40hr plus job, have other kids to take other places, get dinner, laundry, baths, and homework THEN have 2and half hours to sit in a gym or field to watch practice (some almost everyday) then good for you! But most of us can't! Especially ones that do it by themselves. Babysitter? Please! I'm sure you spend that 2 plus hours gossiping like this about other parents. DISGUSTING AND IGNORANT!

Of course, if Clayton Dement's team had a horrible record this year it would HAVE TO BE because he can't coach, not because your little football star has no talent or doesn't know the fundamentals of the game, right?

Quit worrying about how loud someone is speaking and start worrying about what is being said. Great coaches don't coat everything with sugar. They point out weakness and show a player how to improve it. It's you parents that cannot stand to have anyone say your child is not perfect.

As for the end of year party, I am sure every one of you had the coach's phone number, couldn't you have called and asked when it was planned? Makes more sense for each one to call the coach or team mom than for the coach to call 30+ people.

Anyway, go ahead...embarrass your kids. That's why we don't have a decent high school football team in this district...you parents make such drama out of everything that the kids don't want anything to do with football when they get to high school because they are tired of being humiliated by their crybaby parents!

Well... When you write "thoughs" instead of "those", I would have to say that yes maybe I am just a tad bit more educated! But hey... don't feel bad...I'm a hick too! Born and raised right here in P'ville. I'm just an educated hick I guess!!

Also, my history with FYFL goes way back to when it was still called Fairland Midget League! Oh... and guess who was a coach even back then? Clayton!!

My oldest son has already been through FYFL and Middle school football and will play for HS next year. My youngest will play for E-team next year. My brother played, my husband played, my son has played, my nephews play now, my son will play next year. My point being that I have been around enough football to know one thing for sure... If you guys can't handle fyfl football, then you definately will not be able to handle Middle School or HS football or the coaching. Your kid will get screamed at directly in the face. He will run until he's puking. They will be punished as a team for one teammates mess up! Many of them stand on the line practically all season even when they have been to every practice. You all are griping over nonsense! You think Claytons bad... Wait until they get Wireman! You will be on here next griping about him and he's a GREAT coach too! These coaches are there to teach your child the game of football! They are coaches, not miracle workers!

AS I said before I am very educated, I have a great job. I also have been in this that long and Clayton is not a good coach talks about kids and parents so gets everything people are saying about him and if you want to know I have 2 brothers that played a husband all three of my boys and Im sure the next 2 will play to so I know all about fyfl and fairland football too.

It's not all the coaches or the players fault. Like in anything it takes two. That's what is so good about football it's a game but it's a game of life. But just like in real life everyone is quick to point fingers.

What's funny is half of everyone who griped on this forum is probably the parents who just dropped their kids off at practice and leave for everyone else to babysit so they could do whatever. If you weren't my appologies, but I can't count the number of kids even little e teamers who would get dropped off and have to stay there by theirselves.
