How can there be two all-star teams? Who determines that?

There are a large amount of fifth graders therefore more talent so to give everyone a fair chance two teams are needed.

Two teams is a great idea. One team being the top players the top 8 in most cases the second team those girls who didnt make the first team but have potential and plenty of talent maybe just not as much as the first string. Kind of like varsity vs jv. This keeps girls interested in playing. Some day some of the top 8 may choose not to play or get bad grades and can't. Two teams gives the other on the second string team a chance to develop and one day make the first string team.

I misspoke. It is the fourth grade group that has two teams due to large amount of fourth graders totally my fault.

I'm pretty sure the Williams guy is taking the first string and Bowen is taking the second string team. Both team are really good should be interesting. It's great to see all of these girls still being able to play despite if they were top pick or not. Go Dragons!! This is the future of Fairland Lady Dragons

There is no second string. The question was asked if anyone wanted a second team. The answer was yes to give additional girls the ability to play. Other schools do this that have VERY successful programs. For once can we pretend we are from the same school/town/team and support these girls?
