the 9& 10 yr olds orange team is a complete joke no one seems to be in charge and they read the rules as they go when you walk in 25 runs its time for a coach to come out and talk to the pitcher not counting hitting 12 people on the other team how does these people get to be coaches and before the almighty fairland fighter start other people did put in to coach a team and this is who the league picked to do it . and they have been ask if they need help and they said NO

Arguments took place in basketball too because teams were stacked. Not fair to kids or their parents. Funny how some people are running everything they touch down the crapper. Talk about ego.

I heard Chuck Williams through a big fit over a couple girls not wanting to play on his team, do you blame them? He acted like a fool during Buddy League basketball this past year. When our team played his he was almost never offered positive encouragement much less praise to the girls on his team. Several parents were very disappointed when they received their first call from their coach for softball this season.

Sorry, I think there was more than 1 coach in basketball and softball that has acted like a fool this year. Quit trying to stack teams and play by the rules fair. Same people complain each year!

Maybe the same people complain every year, because there kids get treated unfair because they are not from the in crowd. My god these are just kids be fair none of them are going to be pro's someday.

Volunteer your time and spend some time at home working with your kids. The coaches aren't miracle workers, they have to work with what they have. If you would take 30 minutes a few nights a week and pass a ball with your kids instead of laying on the couch it might make a difference.

Actually this is the first time I've complained other than to close friends. As someone else mentioned the same people complain usually because they're not in the "in crowd" or into the politics of a particular sport. As for Girl Buddy League Basketball Chuck is the coach who stood out most to me. One game he was kicked out for continuing to argue with refs while stepping out onto the court after repeatedly being asked and told to sit down = poor sport! Unless he's changed in 4 months I would NEVER allow my child to play for him!! After the game he was kicked out of was over he came back into the building and started arguing with the ref all over again! Anger management anyone?

Unfair? Favorites? In crowd? Friends? Family members? Buddies? Ego? Sounds like our school boards hiring considerations! Sad sad sad.
