I will vote YES for the FIRE LEVY....because if my house is on fire or I'm in a car wreck, or anyone in my family is having a heart attack or other medical needs and the EMS is out I want the fire dept first response team to come and help.....those people against the levy, I sure HOPE YOU NEVER NEED THEM....

The sign in front of the station should read, "Help us, help ourselves to your tax dollars!"

Without the fire department our homeowner insurance premiums would increase skyrocket.

That's true. The closer you live to a fire station, the cheaper your home owners insurance will be, plus it helps our home values.

Dear concerned...... Are you a property owner? There is sufficient funding for the department now. They have the support of trustees, tax money, grants and donations. Another fire dept in Proctorville does not receive the luxuries this dept does- it generates it's own revenue. It is also public record there is a Durango with a GAS CARD to be used forthr chief of the volunteer fire department. My tax money is NOT going for that.
