They aren't "Losing" anything, it wasn't theirs to begin with; the "loser" is the next person who gets hurt by this guy that is getting his DWI erased from his record in exchange for the chair when he should be getting "help"; I think the police dept has lost sight of the option of learning a lesson here for the guy that previously owned the chair. I wonder what the rest of us could "trade" for erasure of a DWI conviction. I think this whole thing wreaks of unethical behavior!

In this case So What, It was not their chair and should not have the right to take a persons property and sell it to make money for city revenue.
