Rumor has it that Room & Board will be carrying a chair just like this within the next month. It will be the new fashion statement for the urban pioneers in our fine town.

Why kind of a Country is this where we do not let a senior citizen that is also a veteran of The U.S. Navy drive a lazy boy chair while being drunk? Why does everyone have to be safety sissies?

Legalized theft by the city. I wonder if it can be reported to e-bay as stolen property.

Maybe not such a moron. If he blew three times the legal limit for DWI the guy must know he has as drinking problem and shouldn't drive a car. Now that they took his chair he probably will though.

Bid now at $37,100. It would be more appropriate to set a fine for the infraction and take that amount of money from the perp.

I know a guy who invested all his money and time in restoring a street rod and got caught at .09 and lost the car. His life was invested and he loved the car.

I think of the next guy caught who is a millionare and his car means nothing to him and just laughs when he looses it.

Bad government for sure!!

Maybe the taxpayers don't think he needs to outfit 2 new squads. So this is a way to get what he wants without having to ask for it. A lot of the new toys the departments have come from funds like the forfeitures because the taxpayers would surely squawk if they knew what they were buying. Considering this is money they don't necessarily have to account for penny for penny it sure leaves a lot of room for new toys.
