I find it very hard to believe believe Keith Edwards committed murder and I absolutely do not believe he committed suicide by hanging himself off of a showerhead.

Keith Edwards broke into an elderly ladies house and robbed and murdered her. Then he committed suicide by hanging himself in the jail. He was a coward. He was not murdered. He couldn't face the thought of going to prison. What he did was reprehensible. When he owned that sub shop, the girls that worked there often talked of his violent temper and how he actually physically abused one of his employees. So tell me .... why can't you see that he took the cowardly way out? He received more mercy by killing himself than he gave the elderly lady he beat to death.

there's a lot more to the Keith Edwards story than what was ever told and ever will be told... this happened years ago... and his family is still dealing with it every day... regardless of what you thought of the man, for the sake of his family, don't run his name in the ground..

Facts ARE Facts. His family, while I do indeed feel for them somewhat....should stop and wonder how Mrs. Davis' family feels. I would imagine they miss her every day.

You got to be kidding, he ran his own name in the ground, and deserves no respect from anyone. Yes, I do feel for his family, but we can all rest easier knowing a cold blooded killer is now burning in hell.

I feel for the Davis and Edwards family. Not Keith Sr., but his family. It would do us all good just to let this rest. And those making the uncalled for remarks, well, when your son, brother, father or husband kills somebody, wait and see how you feel when you read this crap. You are an idiot and need to be with the one you can't keep your mouth shut about.

He was the sick monster that he was. His family of all people should know that.

DUH...It's not like they don't know, but I would think (being a normal person) that they don't need those that ARE NOT normal reminding them. Just keep stirring it up. I assure you, it has not left either side of the families minds and you have no intentions of letting it. End of my story. Can't talk to a know it all.

For the person who said facts are facts, maybe you should check yours.

Several things went wrong during the trial. The Arkansas state lab admitted to the chance of cross contamination with the dna evidence, but it was still admitted. experts that surveyed the scene said it looked more like a two man job. Motive was never determined.

And while I do feel for the Davis family, they were not the only ones effected. The youngest was only four when his dad died, and he has no memory of him at all.
The older two had to deal with all this while in high school. You remember what high school was like right? Can you imagine what it was like having everyone discuss your dads murder trial?

And Cindy was left to raise them all, on top of dealing with this.

Even now, four years later, they dont have closure. People still refer to them as that murders family. Keiths side of the family got custody of the body, even though his oldest child had just turned 18, and they were not welcome to attend the funeral. The day that Keith died, his family told his daughter (as she was calling about funeral plans) that she was partly to blame for her dads death- you dont think that eats her alive?

Im not saying Keith was a perfect man, or that he was innocent, but regardless there is enough "reasonable doubt" to have not convicted him.
Keith was a father and a husband. This entire thing destroyed his children and wife. So maybe instead of making comments about a man you didnt even know, you could keep you opinions to yourself and pray for the Davis family and his family that they can move on.

I am personal friends with his son Keith Edwards. As you might know, Keith is now a youth pastor and is doing well with his life. His mom is very succesful at her job. His older sister, Brittany, is going to college and getting her degree, and their youngest sibling, Grayson is growing up fine and dandy.

My dad graduated with his father, and he and another one of Keith's friend's dads believe to this day that he didn't commit the crime.

Before you go and bring other peoples' and family's skeletons out of the closet, don't hesitate to make sure that your's is clean first.

There are only two people that knownthe truth behind this story abd they are not here to tell it but I have heard different stories to this mystery. Both sides suffered a loss to a family. And I also went to school with Brittany and I believe Keith and I played golf together. It's good to hear that they are all doing well and I wish the beat for both families. Just bc on does something wrong don't mean u have to hate the hole family.
