REally? USED Garbage Trucks because the city cant afford 145,000 for a new one? AT LEAST West Memphis got beautiful red, blue and green lights under the brige! <eyeroll> We got caved in roads and over trashed ditches with weeds you could sit a deer stand in! So where does the money come from and where does it go? I sure cant see any better improvements in this town. OH the new intersection that has more than half a dozen wrecks a week in that newly designed, well thought out, approved wreck waiting to happen zone? Just sayin!

Why pull punches, why not the lousy water, pitiful excuses of fire and police departments, terrible street department, empty store fronts and they were trying to build a multimillion dollar complex that we would be paying for a decade once it closed in six months...

at least they got SOMETHING to try and improve the sub-standard sanitation dept.

City Management in Marion is a joke.

Y'all are free to move away from Marion. Instead of complaining about tall grass in ditches why don't you get off your lazy ass and go cut it. Add something of value to your community instead of waiting for the government to take care of it.

No, How about the local government who collects taxes to provide services get off it's lazy ass and does the work. But no, instead it would rather raise taxes and continue to provide sub-standard services.
