This is a very sad story but adults really should know better. Unless they were locked in I do not see how they could sue the guy as evil and messed up as he may be.

Liz would've known about the Sweat Lodge. As a member of the Dream Team of volunteers, she would've already attended the event before, therefore she would've known about the sweat lodge - including what went on in there the way James Ray was doing it.

She was an adult, who paid $9,000.00 for this weekend retreat. That alone says something about her. If being in the sweat lodge was un-comfortable you leave, your an adult, you leave. Your decision, period. No one locked these people into this sweat lodge, nor do you actually have to go in. I am sorry but this is a frivilous lawsuit by the family, gor something this woman did of her own free will. Let's not forget the scummy lawyers who initiated this lawsuit! Nothing surprises me about this because everyone is a victim today! It's getting old!

This woman had to be somewhat of a flake to get involved with this sort of thing.

What about individual (Liz's) responsibility? Society today endeavors to blame someone else all the time. There was no gun at her head while in the sweat lodge!

And if anyone knows anything about sweat lodges they are very spiritual and you dont need to pay any money to go into one. Do some research before you start paying someone something that you know nothing about. He made a mockery of our sweat lodge.

Wondering why the daughter trying to profit from her mother's death makes the news every time she opens her mouth?

This is not about people attending a retreat that made bad decisions. It's about a person, Ray, that was making as much profit as he could with no regard for the participant's health and safety. The participants put a great amount of trust in Ray. He betrayed that trust by subjecting them to a sweat lodge that did not follow the Native American sweat lodge design and construction. It is an insult to the Native American community to even call that death structure a sweat lodge. The Native American sweat lodge ceremony is about life and health, not about illness, death and profits.

Why isn't this woman going after the hospital who treated her mother after the incident? What about the doctors' decision to induce a coma - how do you know that was the right choice and why aren't you running around slandering them and demanding they pay for their decisions?
Where is the line here and what is Andrea Puckett hoping to personally gain from doing this?
Just a few questions to try and put this into perspective. CHOICES were made by all of the people involved in this ACCIDENT so I don't think you can run around asking for only one party to be held responsible in such a sever way. What will putting James behind bars accomplish? And why aren't the other victims' families echoing what you're saying, Andrea?

Daily Horoscope for December 2

Capricorn

The Gemini Full Moon brings situations at work to a head; there may be a sudden event that shakes up the office, but you should be free and clear of any real trouble. The real issue is the one you have most likely been avoiding: what sort of state is your health in? Have you been buying larger pants each year for the past three or four years in a row? Is your idea of strenuous exercise scooping hard ice cream out of the carton? If so, it's time for some changes.
