Mama of 3 wrote: You all need to remember, this girl is only sixteen. Granted, what she did was very very wrong, if you had a child, would you want them in a prison? It was extremely wrong what she did, yes, but maybe a juvenile detention center until 18 would suffice. And dont get mad at the defense attorney. He was only doing his job, and thats to keep a person out of jail. Its what he gets paid to do, no matter the crime That's the point. She is only sixteen. What's next? To use people like this is not a immaturity issue. She had to think this through. Attention? Maybe. But she should have to stay locked up until at least 21 with some very intense counseling before being let back out into society. No one is talking about the story she must have told to get the boyfriend so fired up to want to hurt this disabled guy. She is still the reason that this all happened....she should not be getting a pass for being used to convict the other guys of serious charges. Talk about enabling! This is not the first case like this, this one just hit the news because of the injuries caused. And yes it is common practice to use the perpetrator of the act as a witness against the people who actually committed the act. And most times the scum who started the trouble walks. In fact if the disabled guy had really assaulted her, that would be a mute point now, he is now the victim and no one cares what started it.

Let me get this straight, this girl talks her four friends into beating this guy up. Now these four guys are going to jail and she isn't because she squealed and then testified against them. Dollar to a donut she won't live very long when these guys are released. Justice will take it's course, it'll just take a while. Even scum have a code of honor.

She not only talked them into it with her claims of being assaulted, but lured the victim out to get beat up twice. And she's being treated like and innocent 16 year old who didn't know what she was doing. And like I said, this one just made the papers, there have been other cases with just as sick results. Skewed justice, that's what it's all about. Or just maybe she really did have sex with the disabled guy and they don't even want to open that issue with her being a minor. There's obviously issues they are keeping under wraps.

The men were the weapon, but she was pulling the trigger. Its too bad that Dakota County only prosecutes offenses they can make money off of. I bet if she was drinking and driving she would be serving time. Instead, you know, she tried to kill a man with her 3 boyfriends and the county give her a slap on the wrist. No money to be made in assault.

There's something very wrong with the picture of a 16 year old girl "luring" 20 and 21 year old men to beat up a disabled man and leave him for dead. Sure, the girl is responsible by what are these guys doing hanging around with a 16 year old "troubled" (translation: brat) girl and taking her word on anything, and then acting on it so violently? They ALL deserve to rot in prison, but in this state, all this girl can do is dream.
No boundries, no line, no consequence for our actions for anything. What a world.

I have another word for her but it doesn't start with "B"

There is NO excuse for what this little sleeze and the 4 inhumane whatevers did to this young man. I too feel all involved should get the maximum allowed! But what goes around WILL come around, these scums will get theirs!

They better watch their backs because if just ONE inmate has a brother or family member thats disabled and they find out what these punks did. I can guarentee they will get hurt. You don't mess with people that can't defend themselves. One word of advice. If you drop the soap have somone else pick it up for you. You will prabably will get "rushed" on anyways. Ya i was also in the big house. these guys definetly have a big problem on their hands. believe it or not hardend criminals don't like this stuff. not when you go after somone like that. These wimps will get theirs one way or the other.. When you say "rushed on" that's exaclty what will happen they won't even know what hit them. hahaha. Wish I could be there to se it.
