Barry Bowman is the best all around. He wont carry equipment and shows up late but hes the best!! Teddy white is second. Barry taught him.

Each guitarist has a specialty at what they do. I know who quite a few of these guys mentioned are, and they each have a different music preference as to what they play. It's not really fair to compare Masri to Modad actually, because they play totally different styles. To be really accurate about the whole talented guitar player thing, then one would have to say Modad is damn good at what he does and Masri is good at what style he plays. Same with my guitar playing preferences and style, totally different than the others mentioned here. I give props to all of them mentioned in this thread.

The thing about Modad is he can play jazz, metal, speed metal, country, bluegrass, anything. AND he knows all that theory, circle of 5ths stuff. He's only been playing guitar for 40 years.

I heard you several years after you were hashing out "Master of Puppets" in junior high school, and you had the Dave Murray technique going on already with some speed picking. I admire how you are objective and intellectual. I wonder if Frankie Price or Jay Jinks would be mentioned here, if they came back...?

jay jinks in my opinion is the best ive played with but hes not around no more but he is a force at the guitar brian rattliff is also awesome as well and modad is the best all around player since he plays alot of styles
