They probably think that it puts food on the table, a roof over their heads and clothes on their backs.

"Some" feel put out by having to work anywhere. I heart pumps purple piss for them, I had to work all my life and feel proud for having done so.

then again, on a slightly related note, "others" just have a bad attitude, and it is extremely evident by their sarcasm

Yes. the one on stafford drive, they are very very rude. If you don't have a million dollar balance your nobody! Times are tuff and people are suffering money wise. asked them to hold a check for until the next day by 1oclock. as i have a check todepossit by then. they turned right around returned it and charged me a late fee. i feel like calling and trying to get the little bit of help, they used it to there advantage to make money off me. There there to make money off the little man.

Blobby Light, what you are asking for is an interest free loan. That is not what they are business for. You shouldn't write checks that you do not have a balance to cover. Just feel thankful that they didn't have you prosecuted.

No.I missed something, paid a due bill with a check. Everyone make mistakes then had to get food, diapers, gas and went over $4.00 and called asking if they would hold the check for me until then next business day by one pm so could deposit a check and they wouldn't send my truck payment back and the bank charge me $36 received the check by 11 am next day, logged onto my account to see that basically right after the phone call they went looking for the check, bounced it and charged me a $36 fee. They say when you open a account there here to help you and are a friends town bank but thats bullshit to get your money if you make a mistake. But the thing is, My paycheck direct deposited than purchases were made after the check deposited and the purchases were kept under the deposit and they basically set it up to make money off me. But its ok, i have had enough of these small town thiefs. And yes, i do have a loan with fcb.I am currently getting my wifes car loan re financed with another bank so i can pay fcb off that loan and move my checking account else were. I looks like you work for them,so hope you feel good in taking advantage of peoples mistakes to make your money. I should have stayed with bb&t and now that seems like the best option as they understand the "small man" and will work with you instead of trying to take advantage.

Have me prosecuted, sounds like thats something they would do for a small miscalculated mistake with someone that holds a checking account with them and a car loan. Just becouse there names on my car title don't mean they can bend me over every chance they get. Its like they have someone that monitors when people's accounts get low then they start setting it up to make money. The bank on stafford drive, its like your the muscle for the big corporate office and are very rude and the red headed woman at the window is a PURE b%*ch. Get off the rag or atleast act like your not on it and be happy you have a job. This world is getting worse and worse and the bank is still gettin money from the goverment and stealing from ACCOUNT HOLDERS!

First community Bank always seems to have a lot of ads in the paper for help. They must not be able to keep anyone. Seeing ads all the time kind of tells you something about the place and management.

Screw you "lolz". you must work for that bank. Just had alittle issue and asked to hold a stupied check until the next day and they turned right around after the call and took advantage of it. Like i said, you must work for fcb and it seems you like your job, robbing people.P.O.S! You go to college, get a degree i guess to work at a freaking bank? then set on your ass all day stealing peoples money. You wouldnt know what the meaning of the dollar either, just like the government, spoon fed all your life and just want more money so you steal from the Blue collar and no collar folk that sweat for there money.Must be a woman. money hungry and taking up for were your stolen money comes from. So next time you cash your check remember all the less fortunate you help steal from when you eating you $50.00 meal and putting gas in your car.

Bobby, i hate to tell you but that would have happened to you at any bank! it is illegal for them to hold funds that have already cleared your account. i know that everyone messes up now and then but they can't help but follow the law!!!! i know the fees seem outrageous but if a bank is fined for disregarding a federal law they are severely fined and that would cause any fees you may see now rise to accommodate that fine. fcb has very good employees and they are just trying to do their jobs. asking for your identification is part of the job. and i'm sure you would be bitching if they cashed a stolen check because they didn't get proper identification!!

Get one of those overdraft protection accounts. Then u wouldn't. Get additional fees. All banks r the same...its all big corporate stuff. And the tellers make 8 bux or less per hour. They can't legally hold a check after 5 pm. I'm sure for 4 bux u could've found that so they wouldn't return ur payment.

Kinda makes you mad at the first and third of the month when the welfare checks come in and they make more that you do working the entire month. That might help answer your question.

The third of the month is Social Security checks, ya deadbeat. I hope you got a good retirement plan or you're gonna wind up with the same thing if you ever get old or disabled. then the bank tellers can all laugh at YOU even though you been paying for SS your whole life.

Don't write checks your account can't cover. The check process on the bank end is far more complicated then just a phone call. For the check to have cleared your account right after that call means the check was probably processed that day meaning the person you talked to couldn't have "held" it if they wanted to. I have also tried to have a check stopped before it came through and couldn't. The bank said they could "freeze/stop" the payment but it would basically have the same outcome as in fees.
