I wonder if its the same blaster they had for a hundred years when I was there. They were constantly rigging the thing it was an accident waiting to happen.

They would let the dust build up so bad we would have to get under it and shovel it out and it would take a couple of days to do it. I pray for those that are hurt but i sure dont miss that place.

it caught on fire and they had matanice go out side and get the man lift and had them try and put it out. shaun baliey keep running them extengusier. the explosion was not an accident. they had over 30 min to contact the fire dept. but conn weld being conn weld tryed to fight the fire them self. they did not evacuate until it exploded they said before that if you wanna leave you can its your pay check. shaun bailey and mike connley should have contact 911 way before. dont let the news lie to you they had plenty of time to call they did not use 40 - 50 extengusier waiting on the fire dept. they used that many before even contacting them. it is horrible that 2 men almost lost their lives over conn weld being ignorant. please keep these men and family in your prayers.
Sad is a moron

They do drug test. You would know that if you actually knew 1/2 of what you think you do. This accident was NOT the result of an employee, it was caused by jerry-rigged equipment and piss poor management. People have been telling the managers there that the blaster was an accident waiting to happen, and those same employees were forced to watch the predicted accident happen while they tried everything they could to help. Dont you DARE pass judgement on those men like it is their fault. They had to see what people should never have to see as the result of someone else's greed and lack of judgement.
If you want to blame someone, blame the managers who have ignored OSHA citations and countless employee complaints. The same guys who didnt bother to call 911, put the men who were hurt in harm's way, and risked the rest of those men because they refused to stop working while a fire was blazing in the building.

The men hurt and the men suffering the aftermath of seeing what they saw need your prayers. The "business" doesnt need you to make excuses for them..they have enough excuses of their own.

Sounds like willful and negligent actions on the part of management to me. If OSHA findings show willful and negligent on part of owners, they can be prosecuted and go to jail.
