Yeah. Because it's much easier to believe that a fictional monster from the Internet sprung to life to terrorize a rabbit poacher in Athens, WV, than to believe college kids could pull a prank early in the morning!

It's believable if you do the research on it and see that there have supposedly been sightings as old as the 1800s. BUT.... Only if you believe in that stuff, which you clearly don't. AND ALSO.... I don't necessarily believe this guy. At all. So I would much rather believe he is lying and making shit up than to believe a college kid at 7:00 AM would be in the woods dressed up. Get a clue. College kids aren't going to pull pranks that early when they could sleep in, give me a break. I'm not saying I believe an entity over that, but I'd much more believe this dude is making shit up.

It's a very good possibility that he's making things up, especially since he hasn't posted on this thread anymore.

Whether it could have been college kids or not, if he's telling the truth, I don't know. I drove through Athens a couple of days ago and there were a bunch of frat guys in bikinis holding a car wash at CVS, and one night there was a guy out walking the streets wearing nothing but shorts and a cardboard sign. I put nothing past them, especially if it involves getting into a frat or whatever.
