Glad to see someone finally getting in troulbe for this rip off scam. Thank you Bluefield Daily Telegraph for publishing this. Recently I went to a local bazaar at a local church and met this Ms. Gunnoe. I was looking at her jewerly
and the friend that I was with were chatting about how it was fake but yet looked so real like Sabika. Ms. Gunnoe was rather rude and said well all of it is fake even Sabika. She continued to try to show us pieces and sell us stuff at high prices. Her attitude was terrible. We finally walked off.

What makes me mad is that she used a church to sell her fake stuff in,involved the church in her wrong doings. Ripped off all her customers.

Hope she gets what she deserves.

And I hope her neck turns green and black from her fake jewerly!!!!!!!!!!

Sabika is fake too. Who in their right mind would pay near $200 for costume jewelry? Is someone jealous because they can't make anything that looks that good?

I agree, the original poster has to be a consultant. Sabika is crystal costume jewelry people. These locals used the same materials purchased online to make something identical and charged way less so sabika felt threatened. They never said it was sabika and they never have trademarks on their jewelry. Shame on sabika and the snobs who purchase tons of sabika instead of the real jewelry.

Helllll no I'm not a dealer nor do i have any connection with anybody who makes the fake stuff. I just think it's rediculous that ppl spend that much on something that isn't real. You see all of these wannabe's wearing it like some kind of status symbol.
As long as they don't market it as Sabika, there is no infringement.

This Jewelry was not invented by Brand X nor does it have a monopoly on the basic design unless they have copyrighted the color patterns of the Crystals and the name of the design (which they have). Take a tennis bracklet for example, it is, for the most part, the same type of jewelry. Cup chain, rollo chain, jump rings, eye pins, lobster clasps, Austrian Crystals of various sizes and shapes are not produced solely for the use of Brand X. Car radios, Tennis shoes, bras, underwear, tires, etc.... all basically going to be the same but manufactured by many different companies and sold... as far as their marketing scheme, they have copied Avon, Tupperware, Home interior, etc you name it, its a consultant, a host or hostess, a party, take orders from a book, pay for it, make it, deliver it and give the consulant and the host or hostess incentives... sound familiar???

If you read some of the History on the Brand "X" website you will find that a certain owner of a large costume producing jewelry company was heavily influenced in developing her/his own line of jewelery by a gift of austrian crystal jewelry from her/his husband/wife

It's about time companies stand up over this counterfeit product. And the crybabies are the ones that got caught. Who ever turned these fakers in Hats off too you for doing the right thing. So sick of fake ppl and fake product. I hope the imposters are investigated in every aspect to see if they have a business license and are they paying taxes. Could be more going on here than what has been presented. Finally glad some one is stepping up and speaking out. Crooks have been exposed :)

Yes, but you are SUCH a good person to get on here and start a thread to badmouth someone. And YOU go to church??:) Maybe you should start going on Wednesdays as well. You certainly aren't listening to the sermons.
All of it is fake....sabika is as well. It's all costume jewelry. Sabika is a scam all in itself. I think that if you are stupid enough to pay over 200 dollars for fake jewelry, then shame on you. Common sense is NOT your friend.
just sayin

OUR team is rooting for Sabika the real costume jewerly. The authentic stuff. Bahahahaha

Swarovski actually started setting crystals in chain before sabika. You just has to buy ten meters.

Also shouldnt the companies selling the chains get in trouble? They produce the chain for jewelry to be made. This lawsuit won't stick.

It is hard to believe in so few years that this country has turned and is now standing in the corner of what we once, as a country, fought and died to stand against. America was base on free market, no unfair monopoly, land of the free!!! Just think about the phrase "there is nothing common about common sense".. it is so true. Who among us would want to but anything that was offered for sale solely by one company. No other selection on that one choice. Would you like to purchase only Dodge cars and trucks, eat only at McDonalds, Shop Only at Kroger, buy only BP Gas, Drink only Pepsi, buy only Wrangler, wear only converse??? Do you get the picture here? It is so sad when someone is doing something they enjoy and are trying to get ahead in this world only to have "Big Brother" (we can because we have money) come in and say "whoa, you can't become successful and pursue the american dream, only us..." hey think about this when you drink your generic Dr Pepper, coca cola, mountain dew... no name bread... take your generic tylenol and advil... spray yourself with "compare to Obsession perfume" etc etc etc

This is silly. I could understand it if someone was copying Sabika's more detailed work, but the tennis bracelet style? LMAO! I don't see that holding much water.

The consultants and Sabika have a BIG wake-up call coming if they thought that this would boost their sales! The ladies at my office have all already agreed that we won't buy any more Sabika at all! They want to file petty little lawsuits against small, southern WV based businesses? They won't get another dime from us.

Believe it or not, I actually found out about Sabika BECAUSE of the local jewelry makers. I had never heard of them before that, and I've spent way too much money on their products since. I guess it will be a lot easier to stay within my budget now!

I agree with the two above posts. I don't feel like sabika will get what they want from this suit. They are asking these girls to give up all profits and destroy jewelry amd materials..ignorant.
