I think that we have enough drug problems as it is. They should do more to penalize drug users.

weed isn't a drug, do you know any facts about it? It makes brain cells MULTIPLY, it stops the spread of cancer and obviously eases the pain. Our founding fathers used it. God created it..it's just another herb with a little extra umph

The FEDS still have MJ classified as a SCHEDULE I narcotic. The states that legalized prescribed medical MJ still have to deal with the fact that the locals can't bust you BUT the Feds can treat you like moonshiners and get you hard time instead of a slap on the wrist. Don't plan on anytime /anywhere legalization any time soon.

Did any of you know itzeonly illegal. Becauseof the newspaper? The man who ran the newspaper aka yellow journalism at the tine didn't want to deal with the competition between the paper he used and what would have been hemp paper..as well as racisim, fear, and the protection of corporate profits...along with alot of other things that have nothing to do with the fact it makes you high...

No,but if you have a job, you still run the risk of getting caught in a pee test. If you work for a small company without workman's comp and get hurt on the job, you get sent to the doctor or hospital and get tested as soon as you get there. If you test positive, you're on your own. If you're in a car accident and POPO thinks you're high, they can have you tested. If you're driving you get a DUI and can be charged with contributory neglegence on your part. Whoops, there goes a large fine and your insurance rates!

I think it should be legalized. Christian and Republican - Most people who have the facts believe we should reap the benefits of the taxes on legalization.

Haven't smoked for many years because of illegalization. Need to legalize it and tax it and use the tax dollars to support rehabilitation and education programs for real drugs legal and illegal including alcohol. Another benefit would freeing up the legal system to handle the real criminals.

Why does everyone say it will "create druggies" most druggies are going to be druggies reguardless, marijuana smokers will always be marijuana smokers. But. You ill-mindedd. Idiots. Should realize. Marijuana is in no way a drug. Smoke a joint, then do an. Opana. Then tell me which one is a drug... Making it legal will not cause people to start doing cocaine or pills(druggies) it will just give hherb smokers a spark of hope to not. Get arrested for a completely harmless plant... Your brain is made to react to. Marijuana, do somee research kids ;)
