Integrity sells for about 25 cents nowadays

Some people moved into the house beside me two years ago. They are not very friendly, never returning a waive or making any effort to be neighborly. I don't have any real problem with that. If they wish to keep to themselves, more power to them. But this past week something happened that has me puzzled. They stole a dog chew toy that was shaped like a blue rubber bone. It was seven years old and you would be lucky to get a quarter for it at a yard sale. It only cost about $4 when I bought it. The worst thing about it for me is that it was my dog's favorite toy, he carried it around with him since he was a pup, and the company no longer makes it so I can't replace it. What I don't understand is why anyone would steal it. Especially since both of our properties join and are fenced and no one else could have taken it but them. They had to know that I would know that they are the ones who stole it. Now, not only are the neighbors unfriendly, but they are thieves as well. Today they steal dog toys, tomorrow they will be taking candy from babies.

Why not tell them instead of everyone on here?

I bet it was a practice run. Next thing you know, they will be after your gun-safe.
