Food poison takes a lot longer than that to hit you. You might have gotten it from somewhere else. Not taking up for silvers, I can't even stand to smell it!

I went there about a year ago and it was around ten thirty/eleven in the morning. They served me a chicken dinner that was from the night before. It was so cold and stale.....no doubt that it had been out for hours. It was too early for it to have been sitting out that morning, so you know it was from the night before. They could have at LEAST heated the thing up. I will NEVER eat there again. I had to throw the whole thing away. Usually, I can eat food cold or just reheat, but you had to see this to believe it. The thought of eating it scared me.

Long Johns is loaded with grease. It's batter dipped and fried after all. You may not realize it, but it's also loaded with salt. That's probably what got you, not food poisoning. Just don't have so much next time. Grease and salt can do a number on some folks.

I used to love their chicken planks, but now they are like trying to bite into a tire... They taste like rubber... What's going on... Really all fast food places in Princeton have gone down hill...

My guess is the OP was carrying the gastro virus in her body prior to eating at this restaurant, and the heavy, greasy food only intensified what was going to happen anyway. I've had severe food poisoning twice and wound up in the ER terribly dehydrated, with impaired kidney function. It took more than a week to get the bacteria out of my system, and I lost 15 pounds. THAT is food poisoning.

Really all fast food places in Princeton have gone down hill... It's everywhere. Corporate costs, labor, insurance, utilitie s,and raw food costs have risen faster than the public is willing to pay for those increases so franchise places have to cut where they can to compete with the places with the "dollar menu" items for those caught eating on a budget. As far as the cold food situation, that has to do with the shift manager trying to precook too much to speed delivery time at the point of order and fried food sitting in the warmer gets a bit soggy and stale. LJS and KFC are bad in this area for serving cold fried food but once you go through the drive-through, they've got you, unless you go back in and make an issue with the counter person. It pisses them off when you bring cold food back in front of the other customers, but hey,if you don't say something, they keep doing it. Peace!

Just don't go there anymore thats what our family did. We got sick for days after eating there, when we were feeling better I went to the store with the left overs and the receipt. Did not want a refund but to prove a point that we had bought the food there. The inside of the place was FILTHY!!! No wonder we got sick. Never again.

On the cash register receipt there is a location and transaction number and usually a 1-800 number or web-site to : "Contact us". Go on line and tell the corporation exactally what happened, about hateful cashiers or the dirty conditions of the business. They will listen and send reports back to the district and local managers. Sometimes they will even send coupons and an apology letter. Too many complaints can jepradize the local owner's franchise. If no one complains, nothing will ever get done to improve the situation. If you see something really out of place or nasty, call the county health inspector and that usually gets a surprise visit by the inspector that gives the monthly rating. It works!
