Joni Mitchell's "Blue" or anything by her always gets me singing. I love her voice. I like alot of stuff that is older. Today's music just doesn't have any heart. My husband calls me a grandma because I like this stuff, but I think he just isn't well rounded. lol

Napoleon XIV's 'They're Coming to Take Me Away' reached number 3 in the charts in 1966.

I just went to St. Vincent de Paul to find some decent slacks for church and picked up a not too scratchy copy of Judy Collins''Wild Flowers' which covers Joni Mitchell's 'Both Sides Now'.

Also found a copy of Hank Williams greatest hits to keep my redneck roomate at bay when she gets back from Texas and sees the awesome stereo I installed in her absence.

What's really been playing in my head for the last few days is Memphis Jug Band's 'Stealin'.

Now put your arms around me like the circle round the Sun.
I wantcha ta love me mamma like my easy rider done.

If you don't believe I love you, look what a fool I've been.
If you don't believe I'm sinkin', look what a hole I'm in.

I'm stealin', stealin', purty mamma don't ya tell on me.
I'm stealin' back to my same old used to be.

You should just kill off your Middle John and Spirit Hunters socks. They are completely ineffective. Zombie Asylum I'm still thinking about.
