I would hate to be the person who has to come in to this mess and babysit the crybaby parents. It has been sickening to watch a clique of parents undermine a team's focus, loyalty, and team spirit. The ringleaders of this circus chose to degrade the team at the end of the season. The true shame here is not the losing season, but the lack of integrity on the part of the adults involved.

I would love to have an in depth description of what in the world all these people did (Mark, Kristy, Autry, and A.Christian did)...... It must have been horrible, and I am going on the assumption that it had something to do with Spadaro shaking that boy on the sideline.....

Yes you have a point. But if I'm going to futher my game I'm going to a winning team Mr, Butcher. Looks like all the kids that we speak of that left Princeton have done very well. If I'm in the NFL well I sure don't want to play for the Detroit Lions if I have a chance to pay for the New England..... And btw I have a friend that lives in Princeton now that was a BHS Grad that plaied for New England..... Now tell me again why I would want to play for Princeton???? Do you not think that Freddy Simon puts the HARD WORK AND LONG HOURS in with his team. I think thats how they win... I think I know I payed for Mr, Simon.... Now he is a Coach and he wins. What I'm saying is this Spadaro is not a winning coach. I'm not saying anything bad about Priceton. Juat saying that now they have a chance to get fresh blood on top and have a winning school. They had an asst. coach there before.... Mr, Pedigo... Chris Pedigo now he would be a winning coach!!!!!
u still dont get it do you. This isnt about wining at bluefeild, or princeton. Its about kids being taught whats right, and whats wrong. If you start something with a certain program you sghould finish it. Every child should be taught just cause you get mad over one little thing that you run somewhere else. And there want be a wining coach at princeton until we come togather as a community. And even you know if you made it to the nfl you would play for any team that would take you. You wouldnt tell the lions, oh im sorry im going to play for the saints, you would be happy just like anyone else to be on a nfl team. I m not a bluefield fan but i do respect. What they have acomplished. I bleed blue n white and always will. Why cause thats where my heart is, goes back to the way i was raised. You stick with what you know. Hope spadero moves on to good things, he wasnt the whole problem, i promise you that

Again you have a very good point and yes I understand everything you are saying. I totaly agree with you. Everyone has to be on the same page to win. All I was trying to say from the start is that with a new coach maybe Princeton will become a winning team. Even if everyone comes together without a great leader you have a mess. Thats all I'm saying. Yes win lose or draw it is all about the kids and the kids having fun with what they love. Yes I'm sure Spadero was not the whole problem.... But in the end he was a leader and when the team fails the leader is always the one that the blame is on. Coach Spadero may be a great coach but it just has not worked out for many years for him to be a winning coach....

AGAIN READ CAREFULLY... I wish the best of luck to the Tigers next year and hope everything works out and the kids get a new coach that brings new fire to the team. When you lose you lose the pep in your step and your hearts not in it any longer. Get the kids hearts back in the game, prove to them they are winners and then Princeton will rise as one. Hopefully with a new coach this will happen. Thank you have a nice day....

that may be so, however, it will have to be advertised and the school employee with the most seniority will get it although Mercer has a way of making things happen.

Things won't be different if Large has the job. I've watched him at BMS the past few years and he instills no discipline in his players. He chooses the ones that are good and they get away with whatever. They come and go as they please, get suspended from school and get to keep their starting spots regardless of what they did or attitude.

And before there is some snide remark about me putting him down because my kids rode the bench that wouldn't be further from truth. Both of my boys started both years each were there.

Bottom line is Large wouldn't be an upwards move it would be a lateral move.

<quoted text>Loving the sport is one thing...let's define the word dedication...and equality. Work harder... scholarships are at stake here..help our kids?? Coach talks out both sides of his mouth. The parents are left to secure college recruiters. What happened in 1990's when Spadaro had discipline? Times changed?? Helmets being beat on the sidelines and thrown across the field. Teach them not to have full conversation across the fence on the sidelines. Have the right number of players on the field.. The list goes on and on...I love football, but when visitors come up to us and say sorry about your team it IS hard to swallow. The visitors say how jealous they are of our field and facilities. We aren't even a least bit competetive. Sad..Sad..
I never said anything about him not being dedicated at all don't really know where you got that! I just like how the community can run over a person like that make something bigger then what it is. Not every year can be a winning year their has to be a loser. Yeah a new coach at Princeton is needed but it should not have happened like that.

You have no clue what your talking about. First off Akers probably didn't gurantee anything if that was the case Buster would have had the Princeton basketball job a few years ago. Second, she cannot give him stipulationis on who the staff would be and who to keep. If the entire staff wanted to stay and they were hired through the board they would be entitled to stay on even with a new coach hired. Just alittle FYI for people who are shooting off at the mouth but have no clue what their talking about.

God help us if Large is named the new coach. He is a complete idiot! Whe he was teaching in Virginia, he was reprimanded for his students not having any grades. His students would simply sit and play games, listen to music, etc. He is a PE teacher at PPS. Ask any of his former students who had him in class years ago what type of teacher he was. This will be an indicator of what type of head coach he will be! He is as bright as a burned out light bulb!

As sneeky as that man is he will probably hire Independence's football coach as the new head man! Course he is probably a better choice than Anderson or Large!

Got a Question wrote:
Is it true that a player went to Graham at the beginning of the season and when he could not play there came to PSHS to practice beginning two weeks late? And is it true that this player was rewarded for his disloyalty by Spadaro making him a Captain of the team? If so, that speaks volumes of the Coach. If he and the other assistants can't see how that is wrong, then they have all lost the sense of reality and need to all resign. Coaching is more than just teaching a team to play, it is about teaching leadership, it is about teaching team work, loyalty, etc. Such an example destroys all of those things.
You are right on target. This junk that has been going on is the REAL problem, and the REAL REASON, coupled with very few wins, that Spadaro is being escorted to the door by our citizens. Now, we must all drop to our knees and pray that the replacement is no worse...
