The cops, part of the local government, can not just go down to walmart and buy a phone. they have to go through gov't purchasing procedures and if buying a large Q of phones use a gov't PO or credit card that would show on the registration account. If you personally buy one and use a CC, you are traced. If you buy minutes with a CC, traced.

Traceable to what, a phantom? Do you know how easy it is to set up anonymous trac phone accounts? Why do you think they call them throw always? You really think the government would use a traceable phone, registered to them?? You want to buy some swamp land in Arizona too? Doesn't matter which thread you see on here, always some dick Tracy wanna be private citizen playing lawyer or detective. Here's some advice for you, so some research before you post

OK, here's the facts. I have done research on prostitution in the entire area to include police reports, newspaper and press reports, blogs, and person-to-person. this includes the area from Roanoke to Charleston and up to Morgantown. You are correct to an extent on Trac Phones. My previous report was from a guy in Roanoke that found a number on a internet blog from a guy staying at the Quality Inn asking a girl to call him to set up a room for a meet. The left number was legit and the curious person did a search and the number came up registered to the RKE police Dept. Whether it was a trac phone or not, probably not. His comment was, the cops screwed up in this case - and that's the point! Why was this likely legit?- because the Q Inn is a hot bed of hooking there and if you read the reports, dozens have been apprehended there in stings over that last 2 years. See next post.

OK, here's the list: Lots of activity in Charleston (west), Beckley, Princeton, Bluefield and Roanoke. Cops risen to occassion due to citizen complaints by doing stings in all of these places. W Charleston was very hot 2 years ago but cops stung dozens of Johns and girls. It is now pretty clean during the day but at night.... The Charleston Vice Squad says as soon as they see girls walking during the day, they go into action. This keeps the local businesses and residents happy. Two locations, in particular have regular monitoring of internet activity and will answer or place ads related and sting the girls and their customers. Seems to employ quite a few LE's. Some localities seem to enjoy publicizing the arrests with pictures in the paper even though it is a charge not a conviction. One in particular says they will not publicize because they consider it unethical to destroy someone's life over a charge that has not been proven in court (good for them). Other facts: almost all the girls have STD's and a drug addiction, but not all. Many are theives. One meet up in the Q Inn led to the arrest of the girl and John when she stole his laptop and he reported it to the cops - blind justice! I could write a book, but I'd have to charge!

It's been all over the news the last few months. The Fed is building a huge new warehouse full of storage devices that will store and catalogue EVERY e-mail and text message traffic in and to the US. Then they will use the data to analyze it for leads into activity they want to monitor and investigate. The Wall Street Journal had a great article on it a while back. They have algorithim programs so powerful and intrusive that you would not believe what can be done with the data.
