You all are idiots! No wonder the kids now days are a bunch of morons, they take after their parents! Princeton Band is full of good kids, they must be getting raised by their grandparents! Ms. Kade is fantastic. She is a brilliant band director. She must also be a saint, to put up with the bunch of ignorant band parents that she has.
They won second place, I say job well done band! You can't win them all.
Well said. Totally agree.

Too bad we can't do as our grandparents..if we could then every rude and disrespectful comment would result in a mouth full of soap. Very sad that we can't be proud (of all of our ands) and leave it at that.

Congrats to all Seniors at PSHS, THE BAND, FOOTBALL TEAM, CHEERLEADERS, DANCETEAM, and JROTC. Last night was SENIOR NIGHT and seeing all the young men and women of Mercer County and their proud parents, showing support for their hard work was wonderful. GOOOOOOoooooo Tigers.

Hold your heads up high. You will always be #1 to us. You put 2 grade 6 songs on the field and marched the entire time and you did it beautifully. The drum line wrote a lot of their own parts and mainly you had fun. We are so proud of you. To Mrs. Kade who writes the marching routine and is the only band director at PSHS, we appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to the PSHS band. We also appreciate you teaching our children about hard work and dedication. Keep up the good work PSHS band and good luck next week. Also, good job from Bluefield and Pikeview, all 3 bands made Mercer County proud!!!!!

Let's see, proud tiger mom, I guess those kids did not play their own instruments, nor did they march. It was all stand in people they bought. Beaver Creek was better than Princeton. Yes Cabell won so get over it. Something called playing level 5 music versus level 2, a much more difficult routine, and yes, better choreography, as well as better execution is what the judges saw. Don't like the judging, feel free to stay away next year.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?! Princeton is playing 2 grade 6s while marching to it... one in which is in 3/4 time. They also had the hardest marching routine Mrs. Kade ever wrote.

Own show? The students and Ms. Case wrote the entire program? Music too. Well I did not know they wrote and performed When A Man Loves A Woman. And it is performed exactly the same as The Blue Devilish perform it. Wonder who is fooling whom now? Princeton just got busted out on that one.
Princeton never said they wrote the music. Princeton wrote their entire drill, and the drum wrote their music to their drum break and one or two of the songs... Where are you hearing your info?

The top 3 bands at the Mu comp were excellent. Midland just had a more interesting, unique show in the opinion of those particular judges. Does that mean they will next week? Who knows. IMO midland is an outstanding high school band & Tim James & staff have talent that is incomparable, but that's my opinion. I'm sure Princeton & Beavercreek folks feel the same about their band & staff.
Have some dignity when you get something other than first place. It happens to everyone at some point. The fact you're on here arguing about who bought what & who supposedly cheated is asinine. It makes you look like you have to defend your self proclaimed greatness. If you're so good then just know that & move onto the next contest.
Btw... About 90% of bands worth a crap purchase their drill from a drill writer. If Mrs Kade writes yours, well then hooray. That doesn't put you at a higher caliber.
Also, midland's staff is almost all midland alumni. No dci instructors there, although they could be.
As far as rude fans... If anyone was rude at the ballgame, it wasn't band folks. They get the wrath of TJ if that happens & that's not pretty. I do however have video of MU Comp last year where PSHS fans were yelling their "let me hear your tiger roar" during Midlands performance.
Put it on youtube then give me a link, I want to see the fans, then a pan shot to the band WHILE they are marching

They copied the exact version from The Blue Devils. Original, I think not.

I repeat, no one ever said we made the music. We only said the DRUMS made PART of their music, 1 or 2 songs (either way, they made the music to grade 6) and they created their own drum break. We also made our drill, NOT THE MUSIC.

And Ms. Cade sewed all the uniforms herself after shearing all those sheep herself. What a saint. Gifted yes, great person yes, especially to be putting up with you posers.

I believe she also fashioned the horns out of discarded aluminum cans she found along the road while doing volunteer work with Mother Theresa.

Cheater Midland bought their show, as they do every year. They are not better, they just have more money. Of course you're going to win when you buy your way to the top. Also, where do you suppose the judges were from? Hmmmmm....CMHS alumni perhaps??????
At least our flag corp does not look like they were training for a position at the Lions Den! Keep your sad show at home where it might impress someone because it sure does not impress real judges...You people are such sore losers, by now I would have thought you would have learned to live with defeat!

2 lies. For one, your location is charleston and if you lived here you would not give 2 sh!ts about Cabell. And secondly, BORING. OMG any person in this state that is not from ona, Wv would much rather watch a real band perform rather than a PROP band that buys their entire show. THE GRID sucks. Perform at Glenville with none of your shitty grids or other pointless props and we will see what happens. Pretty sure your guys GE grade was almost exactly the same, and we did ours without props. So you either have bad taste, or are was mistaking Princetons field show with Cabell's when you say BORING...
You really dont wear loss well, you should move to Ona so you can feel proud of your band and not have to use such foul language to ridicule a far superior band. How many trophies from Marshall are in your showcase? Well there are 9 in ours so deal with your loss like a big boy and shut up!

Made the music to grade 6, shame they only played it to grade 3.
