Brentwood, TN

On my way home from work about 8:00 PM, on Rt. 20 at Glenwood Park there was a wreck involving a black car and a police K-9 SUV. Just wondering if anyone knows what happened.

Many people put off the road on route 20 by at least 5 reckless cops.

all i know is for a fender bender 2 other state police cars came up rt 20 80 plus mph where was the fire i had just past the accident and i dont think the race to get there wouldve been worth the lives of my children in my car sorry but they need better communications so responding units can slow down when its already under control

yea the state cops are a bunch of rouge cowboys-when one of them wrecks-sometimes D.U.I., the others cover it up

well this is the second time in my kids lives that ive had them all in the car going to have a good clean family outing and ive come home thanking god i made it. although we all have close calls for accidents im not used to cars comming at me in my lane so fast. 1st time i called and complained this time i know there is no use also the first time was worse than this one, and i watched the news there was no story covered that wouldve been worth killing nine kids and two adults, cause that time my best friend was right behind me, we were taking all our kids to the park. i know there are times they have to get somewhere fast, but on this occasion i had just past it was completely under control, so why were they allowed to go that fast? is it because they get no excitement here? seems like that would be a good thing. i couldn't tell if the k-9 vehicle was one involved, there was a truck there also, hell even calling in the fire dept was a joke, that one cop could've pulled out a broom and dustpan and took care of the three pieces of plastic in the road its a waste. i also passed a personal vehicle with the red lights for a fireman and he was booking it too, but i was almost to bluewell by then. i wonder how many ppl he run off the road getting there. one day one of these responding units or these people we give the green light and the power to do the same is going to kill someone and its bad enough a trained cop does it, but these others are untrained in maneuvers at high speeds. we need to do something to make them have a system that only gives them the power to roll that fast if it is life or death not everycall they go on that they decide to tear the road up unneccessarily.

We was at the park when this happened. Those kids could have been hurt very badly.Thank GOD they wasn't from what I know. When we left there was all kinds of unmarked vehicles coming that direction at very high speed.Hello that is what caused the accident in the first place.I know the police has to get places in a hurry they can do it without causing harm to innocent people.

those kids lucky it happened where ppl seen it or one wayy or another they would be made at fault at least this time there are too many witnesses to do them dirty cause we all know the police usually find a way to make it not their fault but the other driver wonder how this cover-up will go

I was just wondering if any of you considered that since a:) the vehicle was struck in the rear and b:) the officer was responding to a call with both LIGHTS and SIREN ON that perhaps you should not be angry with him or his driving? I only say this because we have a law on the books in WV that obligates all to yield to emergency vehicles. I wonder if you took the time before you typed on this board and considered the accident and the situation he was responding to?

I have and I do not fault him. I know that if I was ever in need of assistance I would hope that the responding officers or other emergency crews would come to my aid with all due hast. Please take a moment and think about your possible future need and the response of not only the responders but also the normal people who may or may not yield to them.

****Just so you know I am not associated with law enforcement or any other first responders in case you were wondering.****

i dont care how bad you need to get somewhere you have to drive in a manner that doesnt harm the public and that means do not assume anything at 80 mph thats how you kill someone and for what a shoplifting or some stupid call like that

only time they need to drive in such a manner is if a persons life is in immediate danger so go on with saying they need to get places so fast because its not the normal call that they are flying too if it was life or death it would be different but the ones that eendangered the public wasnt the one who wrecked it was the other 2 one right on the others ass racing through traffic to get there duh all they had to do was use the radio and it wouldve been clear it was a lil fender bender
