Something needs to be give........it should not take 10 minutes to cross the road to take your kid to school. They need a traffic light or someone directing traffic in the mornings.

If parent would let them ride that yellow box, that's what our tax dollars help pay for. Then they wouldn't be a traffic jam or the need 4 a light at PV or any other school.

Turn at the top of the hill above Craft Medical, go down the mountain, turn left and go to Pikeview. That way you don't have to cross the road. Why would you be dumb enough to sit at the 4way every morning and not arrive from a different direction?

Let the kids ride the bus. That is what it is for.

Thank you for letting me know how DUMB I am....I sure you are perfect and take the easy road on every aspect of life! What is your suggestion for leaving out of PV to go to work in Blfd......let me guess turn up and go up Unity Road......yeah right!

They needed a stoplight there before they even built the middle school. There is way too many accidents there that could have been prevented.

I guess if you don't exoerience that traffic for yourself you don't really understand what I am talking about. You have people taking kids to school at PVHS and PVMS plus students going toward Spanishburg area...and then you have people going to Concord. That place is not driver friendly.

No why don't you just don't show up at the times it would be busy. Plus parents and kids especially thinks ALL cars will turn up to PikeView and I almost hit them because you predict. The day I do hit someone I am going to jerk them out of the car and beat their ass in the road. Or maybe I will just kill ya cause I am not slowing down I will scare the hell out of you. Follow me you would wish you didn't. Have a great day and drive with sense!!

I often use Unity and Eads Mill to avoid traffic on Route 20, so I'm very familiar with the school traffic in the mornings. It's always been bad, but with the addition of the new middle school, it's much worse. Even the bus drivers will pull out in front of you! Not everyone driving that road is going to one of the schools, which seems to be the assumption of those drivers leaving the property of both schools. The biggest problem though is the high school students who drive to school; they are the ones responsible for 98% of the wrecks. At the intersection of Eads Mill and Gardner, Eads Mill traffic has to stop, and many students don't stop, and the students driving Gardner don't yield, so that intersection is a nightmare. Students who drive to school by way of Unity Road also cause a large number of accidents by running the stop sign where that road intersects with Eads Mill. Sometimes by the time they actually stop, the front end of their car is actually out in the right lane of traffic for anyone driving Eads Mill. I think parents, and the school system should be more restrictive with allowing students to drive to school.

Parents also should be restrictive and let their kids ride the bus instead of babying them and driving them to school. Then we wonder why the young people are the way they are in todays society.

I caught be bus at 6:00 and was at the elementary before 7:00, school didn't start till 8:00 - think about that one. Stop your tears you are complaining over silliness. Tudor your child if you are that unsatisfied.

It will not hurt them to get up a hour earlier. The problem is parents will not make their children get in bed at night so they want them to sleep as long as possible so they dont have to deal with them.

Yes and they will always be sucking your titty even when they have their own family. You will never get any piece. But then again this will drive you crazy and you would be the mom who thinks no one is good enough for your kid and you would try to have them done in, like those lifetime movies I am sure you watch while they are at school till pick up time.
