This is a classic JSM dumb argument!

When did IKEA and Walmart become competitors like McDonalds and BurgerKing?

This is apples and oranges. IKEA owns their own unique furniture and thereby is more profitable and can afford to raise salaries if they choose. Walmart buys cheap and sells cheap. Slim margins and little chance of raising salaries.

Different business strategies and the two companies should not be compared!

Exactly my point. I just thought that someone as intelligent as JSM claims to be would appreciate the math to prove the point.
